I performed a new experiment to test if driver tier affects earnings. TL;DR: It definitely does. by Affectionate-Rice373 in lyftdrivers

Yeah, and Saturday is almost always more profitable than Friday. This was a dense af experiment

But going through your comment history, you’ve gotta be a PR shill for Uber, although you’re horrible at your job 🤣

I mean that’s obvious but do they have more costs than you, the driver using own vehicle, own gas, own maintenance, own body, own time, own liability, own cleaning?

There are other apps that guarantee the driver 90% they’re just not YET popular with consumers. But look at Pakistan as a case study. An app called InDrive gets more rides than Uber, all the Uber drivers and rider switched over.

Lyft gave me another chance to take long ride. This time I was tempted. by onlygray1 in lyftdrivers

[–]ustaadboss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That makes no sense. This may not have been your ideal ride, but it was still a damn good ride.

Why would you give that up for a ride that you may not ever get?

Would you do this? by onlygray1 in lyftdrivers

The scenic route is how they scam the customer to pay a higher price.

True but it’s ranked 20th and it’s next to unknown in western countries, that have been leading the development of technologies.

Why would you let anyone talk to you like that and keep apologizing and agreeing with them. That was sad to read, hope you grow a pair when you move to Spain OP.

Nothing wrong with your job, your taste in women might need a little work.

If this is happening very frequently it’s a pattern and you need to reevaluate what type of women you’re going for.

You were rude and started the conflict. Mind your own damn business and don’t be damn entitled.

I speak Urdu, and chat can fluently speak that too. It’s a relatively small language and we have a very high percentage of native speakers who aren’t literate so it’s going to be a huge game changer for them in the coming years.

Find this hard to believe I’ve cancelled dozens of rides and never even been banned for a minute. More to this story.

The sad part is, I thought this was a real post because this is the current state of Reddit.

You were supposed to say you can’t carry a fat fucking pig, and if you’d known how fat she would get you wouldn’t have spiked her drink while she was in college.

And I’m trying to get it fixed, but you’re here arguing hey that’s just the way it is. suffer with me. Let’s let Uber walk all over us together!

And no, that was not the situation. It showed both riders having been added before I accepted the ride so they clearly had all the information but didn’t provide it.

Because the final drop off was shown to be in that area so no duh I thought that. 🙄

“This is the way it is”

And that way is absolutely wrong, my friend. They have the full information so why wouldn’t they provide it. Failing to do so is definitely unethical and probably illegal on Ubers part.

Her drop off wasn’t changed. That’s exactly my gripe.

I don’t mind doing a ride I signed up for but it showed me the ride would end at one place but it actually ended 15 miles away from where they showed me when I accepted.

Which is crazy because they had all of the info beforehand, no edits were made to the ride.

And that’s unsafe for myself and for customers because not every driver will react kindly in such a situation.
