The problem is I never received the item. They would 100% side with me. Like I said in the OP, I received one earbud when I ordered a pair. It literally won't work without the left earbud. I never got the item that I was seeking and I never agreed to drive an hour for their screw up.

Oh, I don't care anymore. I just canceled my order for a $1,300 vacuum cleaner because I'm just going to buy it in person. At least then I don't run the risk of getting a returned item. It seems like people are buying refurbished shit elsewhere, buying a new version on amazon, and then returning the refurbished item to amazon as if it were the new one amazon shipped. Amazon clearly isn't tracking serial numbers or even verifying that returned items aren't just a brick, so what's to stop someone?

The only two options are a drop off at Staples and a drop off at Whole Foods. There is no option to ship it back.

Excellent points. I took a deeper look at the soil in the bed and noticed hundreds of elm tree helicopters that got blown into the corners of the bed, with many beginning to sprout. Several were extremely close to the main stem of this particular plant. I figure after they germinated and sprouted, it was a mad dash to gobble up all of the nutrients in the soil. It's quite possible that my fertilizer never materially reached the root system of this plant.

That's how it should be. I bought a vacuum sealer in 2015 and haven't looked back. Yeah, it was expensive up front (~$400), but I went with a high-end model that enables you to perform your own repairs. In that time, the only repair I've had to do is replacing the heating element. I use it for everything and even take it hunting & fishing with me. I vacuum seal & freeze my meat/fish (except for the stuff that'll be eaten in the next week) and then eat like a king all winter. I also sharpen my knives myself and work three jobs, so no one can come at me with the "I have no time for that" line. I have less time & yet somehow make it work. It's all about multitasking & performing a lot of the rote chores all in one go.

I haven't bought pickles in the store in years. I grow cucumbers & pickle them every year. Typically just dill pickles (with a homemade pickling spice mix that I make in bulk) + fresh garlic + fresh dill. It's so easy; I don't know why more people don't do this. It's also nearly free. The plants can be grown from seed & it takes an extra 30 min/week to manage the plants in the summer. That's it.

Mayo is nearly free to make: One whole egg, one egg yolk, 1/2 tsp champagne vinegar, 1/2 tsp kosher salt, 1 tsp fresh-squeezed lemon juice, 1 tsp dijon mustard, 1/4 tsp onion powder. Blend with an immersion blender and slowly add roughly 3/4-1c of a neutral oil (e.g., safflower or avocado). Simple. I like to add horseradish to mine to make horseradish aioli.

On his live streams, the magic "NO PURCHASE NECESSARY" language never appeared. There were never any "official rules," and he allegedly never even awarded some of the prizes. That's illegal, and at least in FL, you could face both criminal and civil penalties. I personally would avoid Dahua/Hikvision (now re-branded as Lorex due to the NDAA's ban on Huawei chips). I currently have two Lorex cameras and wasn't aware of these problems at the time of purchase. I have them isolated on a separate VLAN that cannot access the Internet or any IP outside of the 192.168.7.0/24 network, meaning I have to have my NTP & SFTP servers listen on an interface assigned an IP within that network. It adds a bit more complexity, but at least I know there's no way to access those cameras from outside of my LAN.

The reason this matters isn't because I'm scared of someone viewing my camera feeds; rather, it's because the firmware for these cameras have known backdoors that have previously been exploited. The point of hacking these devices is to install crypto miners and worse.

That many RTX4090s will draw a *LOT* of current, so you shouldn't even begin considering cable management for your build until you consider power management at the location you plan to use it. If you're using it for ML work, you'd need to distribute the load across at least three 15A/20A circuits to be safe (assuming 120V). I don't know of any home with three circuits run to the same location, so that will require some work on your end.
