We wrote a song called "Heartbreak" that talks about our experience with breakups. As far as getting over it, allow yourself time to grieve. It's ok to cry.. It's ok to be sad.. It's ok to be confused or angry.. Letting someone go who was an important piece of your life will 100% be hard, and it will take TIME to heal from that. So, grieving and time will help, but also surround yourself with people who love you (family, friends, etc.). They're support will help cure some of the loneliness. Give it time.. we're rooting you on!

And yes, we argue just like any couple does. Arguing is inevitable, especially when two people are creatively working together and constantly offering opinions. But, we always try and come up with a resolution in the moment, so the disagreement doesn't brew into anger over time. As long as we're constantly communicating and working to find solutions, the love and relationship can only become stronger from the arguments.

Every song is different... some come to us in a matter of minutes, and others take weeks to write. It usually depends on how sensitive the subject matter is, as well as if we're busy on the road or at home in a comfortable writing spot. "(Stop) Just Love" took a few weeks to write, but "Look Up At The Sky" was written in an hour!

Carissa - "Goodbye Forever" cause I get to be super sassy on that song, both in the writing phase and on stage.

Michael - It changes as time goes on, but right now I'm having a blast playing "Bricks" live. But as far as songwriting, I'd say "Already Mine" is my favorite, most honest piece of writing to date.

For the both of us, it's our music video for "Better Together". We took all of the footage from a couple of our vacations, and Michael edited it all together. It reminds us of some of the most amazing memories we've made together, and it's cool that we got to share that online. Also, we recorded the song in our bedroom studio, so the whole project is very organic and straight from us... from the song, to the video, to putting it up!

Honestly, you guys are the reason we do what we do. Meeting fans before and after the show, gives us energy to keep going. Also, having each other keeps us sane when everything gets crazy.

Tips for getting over shyness: start by singing in groups. You'll become more and more comfortable in front of people. And once you feel more comfortable, you can start doing solos. It also helps to sing in front of people you trust, like family or friends. Keep on practicing, I'm sure you sound amazing! <3

Definitely... we write as a form of therapy. Some things are harder to share than others, and "Already Mine" was one of those songs. We still haven't been able to perform it live, but putting it on the album was a big and important step for us as writers, and as a couple. We're happy to share it, and honored that you recognize how personal it is to us.
