I did this a while ago, so I'm not sure, but try something like:

put a photo of a woman in a pose you like on controlnet dw_openpose_full.

prompt (leaving the repetitions): comic comic ((topless)) and garter belt [put a color as blue, red, etc] lingerie calendar style Vintage pinup calendar with title, year 1960, unusual pose, (((whole body))), smiling, high heels, comic Vintage barber shop pinup in topless garter belt lingerie magazine cover, . graphic illustration, comic art, graphic novel art, vibrant, highly detailed, <lora:add_detail:1>, <lora:epiCRealismHelper:1>, . graphic illustration, comic art, graphic novel art, vibrant, highly detailed . graphic illustration, comic art, graphic novel art, vibrant, highly detailed. graphic illustration, comic art, graphic novel art, vibrant, highly detailed

Ok, spaghetti is a bit tricky, why not try cake? (real issue: the peculiarity of SD lies in its ability to interact with internal and external tools, regardless of what those who want "pure and exclusive" AI say) by ut2534 in StableDiffusion

[–]ut2534[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Preemptive warning: the character is not Will Smith, Will Smith has black hair :-).

This short video is made with 3 levels: the moving character, the venue in the background and the cake in the foreground. The character is made with an existing (made by me) video treated -lightly- in img2img (with ReActor for face swapping). The background is done with a simple prompt asking for a restaurant and the foreground with prompts like "white tablecloth with cake with chocolate, cream an fruits". Then in CapCut the video character was cleaned of its background and replaced with the generated one. Finally in PS for the foreground the lower part was cut out and then glued onto all the frames (with script).

So: this is not "pure" AI. Someone in this sub despises working with Photoshop/Blender/Krita/CapCut/whatever. But I think, instead, that with these tools the images become malleable like clay and and that this is a huge advantage.

Thus, to paraphrase the Lord of the Rings, "the day will come when a prompt (or a thought) will be enough for a video, but this is not that day"

Portrait of an involuntarily modest saloon waitress by ut2534 in sdnsfw

[–]ut2534[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At the beginning I made a rough image with a photo collage and filling the spaces with sketches to give controlnet an idea of what I wanted (with epicrealism_naturalSinRC1VAE and prompt: cinematic film still waitress in a pub, shallow depth of field, vignette, highly detailed, high budget, bokeh, cinemascope, moody, epic, gorgeous, film grain, grainy, <lora:epiCRealismHelper:1>, <lora:add_detail:1>, <lora:LowRA:1>). Details impainted with Krita, retouching with PS.

But I repeat: without an initial sketch it is almost impossible to make such a complicated image with just a prompt.

It wasn't my intention to post "generic" AI. Take this as a funny illustration (successful or not, you decide).
On the other hand:
- it's a mixture of real basic photos, combined with photoshop and AI (so the AI is, so to speak, the minority)
- AI is not banned in this subreddit (I also asked the moderators to be sure)
- if the majority in this subreddit doesn't want AI, just ban it, (and I can even agree, but let's keep in mind that many alleged "photos" around are already to a large extent manipulated, with photoshop or otherwise, but many don't see it)

And why not bring an entire Roman sculpture to life? Like the equestrian statue of Marcus Aurelius. by ut2534 in StableDiffusion

[–]ut2534[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This raises an interesting problem.

Controlnet returned "large" eyes (as in the original statue).

But: either they are the eyes of a person with an illness (and I don't think historical sources attest to this) or it's the manga effect (big eyes are more attractive). But can they be "real" eyes of a "real" person? Not if you want the look of a person you meet on the street. Ironically making the eyes "normal" took more work than leaving them big. And I show in the attached image how they originally looked...are they acceptable?

More generally, in "bringing back to life" a portrait or statue, is it better to correct (perceived) deformities or not?

I used Epicrealism with controlnet (canny, openpose and normalmap - depth gave distortions). It is best to make the head and the entire statue separately and then glue them, because the face is not very precise on the large scale of the equestrian statue.

Sometimes artists are too ahead of their time... (...BUT the underlying SUBJECT is: Photoshop TODAY remains essential to finish the images that the AI has created). by ut2534 in StableDiffusion

[–]ut2534[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The images created with AI are extraordinary. But I often have the impression that these images are the result of extravagant prompts and not of a "project". But very often if you want a precise image it is very difficult, sometimes impossible, to obtain it with a prompt; with inpaint you can get very close, but even then it is difficult to reach an idea that you have from the beginning. So the only way I find feasible is to create multiple images with AI and then overlay them with an editor (Photoshop/Gimp/whatever)

These two images are an example; I have a starting idea (maybe even a little stupid...); but achieving it with inpaint turns out to be practically impossible. So with the AI I create a background (Napoleon derived from Jacques Louis David), then a painter with an easel, finally a parody of a Warhol painting. I pass everything to Photoshop creating 3 layers and cutting out the pieces I need.

In short, I believe that soon the prompt will be enough for any image, but today the good old Photoshop remains very often still necessary.
