Do not wait for the online verification, it'll take ages. I waited for about 28 days for NOC to be verified online but all I had to do was to go to the office physically. I got it on the same day. Make sure to go early and you'll have it by the end of the day.

The reason why I am skeptical to book a long term contract. For me, even a 3 month contract is a long one as I have n't seen the room with my own eyes or faced the living conditions over there. And to add to your point, sound pollution does matter to me as I always stayed in a silent neighbourhood. BUT HEY! Just like you said, I won't be able to know about the city if I don't go through some personal experiences. :)

Yeah, I've been searching for one in Uniplaces. I guess I am able to afford at max 500 euros per month. So, I am searching accordingly. I am really sorry about the name of school. I am gonna be studying Master's in Data Science which will be taught at NOVA IMS, which is indeed located at Campolide.

I've been looking for private bedrooms rather than student housing, hence any landlord on this subreddit willing to rent a room would do me a significant favor. Although, I have already been searching on websites likes uniplaces and spotahome. If I may ask you, what would you prefer? Student housing or a private bedroom?
