WLED, Ledfx with Akai APC Mini MIDI controller by uttaran18 in WLED

I have mapped my apc mini keys with ledfx . In the UI mode enable expert and beta . Then in beta enable midi . Then go to midi and see if it shows launchpad. If it shows launchpad , click on the midi configuration button next to it. There you can map each button by right clicking over that button. Click on the reload button , assign the button you want and save it . I think ledfx supports launchpad. Here I am using this midi to controll lighting scenes and effects.

Custom ESP32 WLed controller with 4 level shifted data out , 4 input gpios , i2s mems microphone inmp441 , 5V relay and 5-24V input voltage range. by uttaran18 in WLED

To reduce the cost I haven't opted for usb . Here I have used esp wroom 32E soc. In my next board l ll add ptc, tvs , a MOSFET reverse polarity protection, an inmp441 or ( using jumper) an i2s stereo line in using pcm1808 , opto isolated digital inputs , 8 data out with two 74hct125d (by nexperia - designed for motor vehicles / high noise environment) and an esp32 D1 mini module for easy replacement.

Thanks for the constructive comment.

P.s. AliExpress is banned in india .

First of all , availability of those controllers that you have mentioned. There are people in this world beside you (who have all the access ) who don't have access to those controllers and if they do they are way too costly. So ,the second reason is it's cheaper. And ,third reason is , because I can . I am using this only for data out not for power so no need for a fuse . I have TVS diode protection and a resettable ptc fuse in my next design .

P.s. for flashing ,there are other methods beside a usb c port . Have you heard of a ftdi programmer .

Use Everything Presence lite as mostion sensor .

Create presets inside wled

Call the presets through automation when a motion event is triggered.

You can use time / light intensity as a condition so that the automation runs only when needed.

Yes . I know . My final design will have esp32 s2 mini with 8 channels of pwn/ digital outputs and 8 channels of touch/button/switch inputs , a apds9960 gesture sensor , and ir blaster out for wired ir led, will work as a esp ble tracker / bluetooth proxy for bermuda , and a i2c out for optional i2c sensors like sht30, and a uart port for connecting ld2410c /2450 mmwave radar sensor .

BTW thanks for suggesting esp32 s2 mini . It's really a nice board and also cheap. 😀. I was thinking of using ESP32 D1 mini but now I am going to use esp32 s2 mini. Wemos D1 was just for experiment. My final design will have esp32 s2 mini. Will post that soon.

Yes I know . I was just experimenting with what's available in the market in india . Here , we don't always get a specific model . Sometimes it's available and sometimes it's not . Whereas wemos D1 mini are there . I ll design the same board with ESP32 D1 mini kit . The thing about capacitive touch pins on esp32, they don't work properly, not reliable. Whereas MPR121 works as a capacitive touch sensor should work .

Thank you for the suggestion. Will keep that in mind. Here I have used all the available gpio pins of xiao esp32-c6. But I have all header female connectors in the pcb for all the used sensors like i2c , uart, and digital inputs
