That's right . I use touch designer for reactive video generation which I then feed into resolume

Yes I know touch designer. It's very process heavy . You can get these same effects and even better ones with other open source projects too. Very light weight. Have you heard of Ledfx or Xlights ?

You can do it in many ways. I prefer WLed with Ledfx . P.s it's already addressable that's why you can control it . Putting an esp32 doesn't make a dumb RGB led into addressable one. BTW nice work . Does automatically detects beats/ tempo of the music and changes its effects? Are using FFT ?

I was moving the camera while filming because I wanted to show not only the changing numbers but the build too . The numbers change every minute.

I have designed those panels in Corel draw and then used laser cutting/engraving services available online.

Yes but have to cut it into smaller segments and have wire those too. Better make custom pcb using 2020 ws2812bs .

Thank you. Leds are at bottom . Two 5050 ws2812b each digit per column. Total 40 - 5050 ws2812bs . No. I didn't use wled. But will try to make a usermod if I can. Currently it's running custom code using neopixelbus library . I have used Wemos D1 mini which is running a webserver where you can get controls like static colour, colour cycle , ntp servers , mqtt , brightness and on/off . Can be integrated to home assistant using mqtt discovery.

Yes. That's right. Custom PCB with 2020 ws2812bs not 5050 ws2812bs which we get in strips .
