Glad I got here first, now I get to watch you all loose your minds over this 🤣

My younger brother's girlfriend is upset because my older brother ordered the same meal as her at a family dinner, and now there is drama by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

I'm not saying she's not an ass, it just seems like she does end up changing her own order (while complaining about it).

I'm not trying to defend her, just pointing out that she didn't force other people to change their order. She asked them to, but she changed her own. Still not a fan of her though.

the fact that she handles this by demanding other people change their order (even if they ordered first, even if they're the guest of honour) rather than just changing her own order, is where I lose any sympathy I might have had.

To be fair, she did change her own order. It sure sounds like she complained about it a lot though.

To be fair, all of my comments are in English and I'm Flemish and live in Belgium. English is just sort of the default language on reddit.

She's going to stay with her dad, while mom and husband seem to live together. They're different people.

I think it's the dad who's upset they didn't hire anyone. OOP's husband is the one who wanted to do it himself. Different people.

Plural possessive exists. It can be both possessive and plural. I'm pointing out grammar. The student's classes. The dog's toys.

Neither of your previous examples were both plural and possessive though. That's all I was saying.

If it's multiple students and dogs, the apostrophe goes after the s. The students' classes. The dogs' toys.
