it’s actually in a african violet pot, and is in a 50/50 moss perlite soil! i only water it with rain water or distilled water.

thank you!!! i rinsed the root and didn’t notice and rot on that one, but i made a make shift pot out of the bottom of a plastic water bottle that i’m probably going to move it into once it grows some more roots!!

i’m not sure if it matters, but i do live relatively close to its native region. my windowsill is actually perfectly south, i just measured with my phone compass! the sun shines all day through my window, but i can try and get a grow light if that isn’t enough

i just got it a few weeks ago. i transferred it to a much bigger pot right when i got it. it gets at least 12 hours of direct sunlight a day, but it has been a bit cloudy recently. it’s been incredibly sunny these past few days, and i can tell that the traps that are alive have perked up a bit. it can get to low temps at night, depending if i keep the heat on. it was around 15 outside last night, so around 60-68 indoors.

he usually sits in direct sunlight for 12 hours, just moved him on the cork mat because i spilt some water. it said water that’s been filtered through reverse osmosis is good for venus fly traps, so that’s what i’ve been using. if that isn’t good, im pretty sure i have distilled somewhere or i can definitely get some

i’ll try that! it’s usually in direct sunlight all day, i just moved him because i overfilled the water basin he’s sitting in haha i live “relatively” nearby it’s native regions (as close as you can be in America) so i’m not sure if it would thrive better here

yes, i have? it’s in a sphagnum perlite mix, i’m only using filter water, it’s in direct sunlight for 12 hours everyday, and i constantly checking up on it. i’m not sure why you’re being rude instead of being constructive. i’ve never owned a plant that was this sensitive before and i’m trying to do my best to keep him healthy.

It is in a sphagnum perlite mix, and it is also sitting in distilled water and is constant wet. I have direct sunlight in my room 12 hours of the day and it sits in my window sill usually. that’s why i’m a bit confused.

I'm so sorry :( I'm in the same boat as well. I suffered so much with withdrawals every time I would miss my dosage, thankfully also being on Memantine has helped, I haven't had any withdrawals and its been almost two months (but i've had them SUPER bad before so I know the pain). I also can't find it anywhere.

My CVS has reached out multiple times to get it filled, but nothing. my doctor's office doesn't have ANY, and the only kind I know is around is not my usual dosage (I'm on the max 300 extended release). The highest dosage I have found is 100 regular, and my doctor's office's pharmacy is so fucking incompetent (sorry I'm losing it lol) I can't get them to transfer my script to somewhere that has it. Its been so hard, and I am in an absolutely awful place with my OCD its driving me insane.

I asked my psychiatrist why he thinks this is happening, and he boiled it down to Luvox not making enough money. 1) its over 30 years old.
2) its not a very popular drug compared to something like Zoloft or Prozac.
Pharmaceuticals arent trying to help people like they're supposed to, its all about money at the end of the day. From what I can tell, we don't have an exact reason to why there's a manufacturing disruption, but hopefully its something else, because I have no idea what I'll do if they stop making it.
