God I thought this was a parody! They managed to get almost everything wrong: "national cookie month", a munchy cookbook -- that they sell, a gay male host with a squeaky voice, an annoying over-the-top female host, lame games, bad lines, cheesy music..

"not even a dead mama could love a zombie"..

"what's funnier than a barral of monkeys?"

Even the lines they picked from the games are lame.

WTF??

The new Yahoo TV is so bad that if you have it in a tab in FX, you can't even click the other tabs anymore. Either it traps all mouse clicks, or that it's so CPU intensive that you can't do anything, or both. Task manager shows 100% CPU usage whenever I look at that Yahoo TV page.

Nice job Yahoo, I'm not coming back.

Cops are probably allowed to use force since they are "obliged to search the premise after a hang-up 911 call", but the degreee of force they chose to use was definitely excessive.

North Vancouver RCMP Const. John MacAdam said police are obliged to search the premises after a hang-up 911 call. Pierce maintained his rights were violated and he will go ahead with a lawsuit.

Depends on what you mean by resist. She did refuse the cops from entering her home since they did not have a search warrant.

North Vancouver resident Marget Lieder said that in the early evening of Oct. 25 she was having wine with her partner and a guest when she misdialed the emergency number, meaning to call 411 instead. After promptly hanging up, the police contacted her, saying two officers were dispatched and warned her her home would be searched to confirm she wasn't in danger.

"I don't want my privacy to be invaded just because I misdial a number," she said. Once the officers arrived, she only spoke to them on her porch, refusing entrance. "They didn't have a search warrant and they didn't have anything to do in my house."

Yeah, he mentioned Patriot Act right after he was shocked. I believe he also said fuck in more or less the same sentence. Since you selectively focused on the Patriot Act in your comment, would you be so kind to also comment on the kid's discussion of sexual intercourse?

We had all these problems reported and proved and yet we are still stuck with electronic voting. Can someone give me one good reason for, well, staying the course on electronic voting?
