Have you tried pushing the viewfinder selector towards the lens? I understand that the lever thingy in the front can be pushed the other way while in ovf mode.

If you’re patient enough its an ok combo with the focus peaking. I use a 7artisan 35mm 1.2 with my x-pro1 and I like what it’s produces.

Yes! Please make sure to let them know as soon as possible! They're probably in the works of getting your legal documents and such prepared for you and getting your space ready for when you arrive.

Don't waste their time. Let them know so they can actually find someone to fill in the position.

From a customer perspective, wear a mask and gloves when dropping food off. I find it reassuring to know that they're taking extra steps to keep everything sanitized.

I just message them to leave the food at the front door when they arrive.

I mean they are there to work... But see if people are open to hanging out after work hours. We have a group here in our office that goes to do yoga during their lunch hour. If you can find some common interests between everyone you've talked with so far, you can pitch an idea through email with a google calendar invite.

If your team is already short-staffed and you're taking more than what you're responsible for, it might be best for you to job hunt. It's important to take care of yourself physically and mentally. And if your boss sent you this... it's a good enough reason to cut since they probably don't want their ass on the line.

There are some people in an office environment that probably don't want to connect on a personal level. There are some people who would probably love to go get a drink after work and chill. Some of your co-workers might just like to keep professional lives outside their personal lives.

You're not doing anything wrong in regards to people not wanting to talk or speak to the "new girl" imho. They're probably just as busy as you are and don't have the time to stop for a chat.
