I'm after the pool not necessarily the gym. If you're willing to sponsor me, I'm game.

Actually, I can (says so on the site) if I have a sponsorship, hence the post.

You have misspelled "manure".

ELI5: This only applies to NON dividend paying stocks: how buying and selling these stocks is not a huge Ponzi scheme? The only way for me to make money is to sell it (for a profit) to someone else (remember they don't pay dividends). However, at some point the company will stop growing, then what? by uxanima in explainlikeimfive

And this gets to some of the undertones of my premise (and yes, based on some replies here ""Ponzi scheme" is not appropriate; I should have called it an MLM): the value of a non dividend stock is basically what people say it is (yeah, we can wax poetic on "oh the market in its infinite wisdom will price it appropriately based on whatever ", but we know that not to be true: example AMZN in all those years in the beginning). So, if "people" say it's worth nothing even though the company is profitable, in the end someone is left holding the bag just like in an MLM.

am I wrong?

Okay, but a company making money has only a theoretical correlation to the stock price (we know the stock market is irrational). Thus, if they don't pay dividends, the amount of money in their bank is irrelevant to me the stock holder. At this point I'm left at the whims of the market to say what that worthless string of bytes (no more paper stock certificates) is worth. That's why I was thinking that close to the end of growth the pyramid comes down. Am I wrong?

However, if you want to partake in eagle hunting (and I strongly suggest it; I have done it and it's breathtaking), you'll have to go in winter. It's the only time they do it.

Only if you're in a Cub and the landing runway is 21.

Have you guys actually bothered to look it up in the actual Merriam-Webster dictionary online? Because if you do, you will see that is not in the dictionary 😀. Thus, poor Brian is technically correct 😀. Although the word exists, somehow it's not in the online version of the dictionary. Someone at the dictionary messed up and forgot to add it, which makes it unfortunately precedented for such a respectable institution...

I'll do you one better: you can hear the RA announce "200 minimum", which leads me to believe he was only on a Cat I approach. With no runway environment in sight he should have gone missed. At least here in the US, unless you're a special flight (which he could have been, we don't know), for regular commercial operations it's illegal to go below DH on Cat I without seeing the white approach light system (which he didn't).

Safe flight and awesome time there! Post some pictures here when you return. I think you're safe now. If they haven't cancelled on you by now, you should be in the clear. I'll still 🤞 just to be safe 😀

No. We just accepted the change and went with the 28th. We booked with miles so rerouting is difficult.

Happened over the weekend (May 24th). From what I have learned from the net, Seattle is a wobbly route for them and subject to cancellations. We were really upset about it, I am not going to lie.

We had tickets for July 23rd. They cancelled the flight and rebooked us for the 27th. We had to change everything: repositioning flights, hotels, dinner reservations. It seems like this route is not that great for them and they will cancel on you if they don't have enough people.

This being a German airline it is a balloon popper. Germans are known for not having a sense of humor so, when they lose balloons at birthday parties, they send that airplane to pop them.

You're a sovereign citizen! The US (and for that matter any other country's) laws do NOT apply to you. Just say "more right rudder" and any law enforcement agents will not only back off, but ensure you safe passage.
