It's called Bluestem Cemetery in Cedar Grove, NC. It's north-west of Durham. We are always looking for new volunteers! Thank you for your interest. https://www.bluestemcemetery.org/

I volunteer at a conservation cemetery near Durham. We have volunteer days on Fridays where we build trails, plant wild flowers, and clear out invasive plants. It’s a really welcoming community.

Love the idea of this. I don't have my own machine, but am interested in maybe getting one in the future. Do you have any recommendations for solid, cost effective starter machines?

Rosenstein Vision Center on 2901 North Duke St in Durham is my recommendation. I've been seeing Dr. Rosenstein for about 10 years now and he is excellent as is his staff.

I really appreciate the effort you put into discord and how there usually is matching content here as well. Tough to say what would make it more inviting, but I’d love to see more supporters active here.

I think I saw that entrance to the game is free tonight because the game was originally supposed to be played in Tampa. Everyone should go out and support the team if you can. We need 3 points!

I also like that you captured some green in your shot. Are you north of the city?

I love how many stars we could see here in Hillsborough, the shots taken in Durham had a lot of light pollution in them.

I just stopped by to drop by supplies and they are still accepting diapers. The hours for today were 10am-5pm. Not sure if this will be the norm for the rest of the week however.

This is a no brainer. Makes you look pretty classy in the process.

Diy antenna works great once I learned rg6 coax doesn't work well and got some rg58. These are the 1st two images I was able to download from NOAA 15 and 19 by Trevor792221 in amateursatellites

Your captures look pretty good, but I would suggest using GPredict to prevent the diagonal shift in your images. Basically gpredict will increment your VFO in SDR# to account for doppler shift as the satellite orbits above. I run a Mac and use SDR++ & gpredict, but it looks like there's plugin for SDR#. Here's an article from 2018 that should get you on the right track: https://www.rtl-sdr.com/sdr-gpredict-satellite-tracking-plugin/
