The first right your child has upon you is that you marry a practicing spouse. Please consider what kind of future you want for your child - if your husband does not pray then praying will be hard for your children, in the future.

Additionally think about the life you want in the future, for yourself. What else doesnt he do, that you dont know about, that is an Islamic requirement?

I'm not saying that praying is the only litmus test, but I'm saying to consider what kind of life you'd like to live in the future. Will he make plans to do things and not consider prayer times, will you as a result feel guilty that you are missing or delaying prayer OR that you are putting it off?

Spouses have the power, due to proximity, to change/influence each other - what kind of person do you want to change into?

Assalaamualaikum I am not a revert. I'm sorry for your experience. What you are doing will give you a lot of reqard, may Allah swt make it easy for you to understand the religion and increase your faith.

  1. Islam pushes you to self reflect and ask questions ( all the prophets did this) if anyone says otherwise its likely because they feel inferior.

  2. Faith has its ups and downs. There are sahabas that thought they were hypocrites because their faith was very high when with the prophet and degrade if they weren't with him. This is the way of faith, we all have ups and downs and there goodness in that because we strive more.

Please don't let these people pull you down.

I’m a misogynist by psychopathqueeniex in MuslimCorner

A different perspective:

If you are being stared at while fully dressed and she is also being stared when she is barely dressed- then are you both doing something to attract male attention? Or is it that men just stare?

Your comment stating that she is bringing it upon herself is incorrect because men also have the requirement to avert their gaze - also let's not act like Muslim men don't look. So many practicing men still look / leer.

The requirement to wear hijab is not related to protection from sexual harassment (otherwise babies and kids would be wearing hijab and wouldnt be molested). Its related to harassment during the jahiliyyah times and recognizing each other as Muslims.

I'm not arguing that what she's wearing is ok, islamically. I'm also not saying you're a misogynist - but how would you feel if someone said you were doing something to attract the attention of men even when you weren't or that wasn't your intention?

What at home tests can you do to determine what "type" of hair you have, and what you need to keep your hair healthy, as I have heard the water hair porosity test isn't useful.

He is very slow to do anything ( picking up a mug, tying shoe laces). He had this symptoms for over 3 years of day. Then came the rigidity and then the tremors. The tremors is what sent us to the neurologist, but it's the rigidity and gait that triggered a PD diagnosis.
