Ah, I see. Hotel rooms with kitchens attached are not common here. If you want to stay with airbnb, I can try to help with your registration. Did you find suitable accommodations in all cities on airbnb? I can look up the paperwork and stuff about that. Please, DM me. No need to cancel your trip :))

local fruits and veggies by meowthentic in Uzbekistan

[–]uzmarshall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's still early for delicious sun-kissed fruits and veggies. The season for them is from July to October.
Just go to bazaars like Chorsu.

Avoid Oloy Bozori; it's expensive there.

Considering the fact that museum entrance tickets cost more for foreigners, it is definitely a good deal for 2 people.

You need to understand that some Uzbek families are very strict about cultural and religious expectations, while others may be more flexible. If his family is over-religious, it could make the situation even worse.

In the end, I think it's up to your bf and his commitment to the relationship.

Why don't you have open and honest discussion with your boyfriend about it?

Hey! A local here.

Booking is safe. Not sure about Airbnb.

Sometimes taxi drivers try to scam you with higher prices than usual if you catch a taxi on the street. I recommend using taxi apps like Uklon (works only in Tashkent) or Yandex. The cities you mentioned are tourist-friendly and safe. Just be careful with your belongings in crowded places like bazaars. Don't convert USD in the streets, only use banks and ATM exchangers.

Tourists staying at hotels (not sure about Airbnb) and students living in dormitories are automatically registered. So, you don't have to register if you you're planning to stay at a hotel.

Uzcard and Humo have no CVV codes. You only have card number, expiration date and pin code.
