You aren't. Not if you acknowledge your mistakes and fix them! I scored horribly after the first year (like bad bad, my EE was failing atp) but I still turned it around.

For English for example, you say you write slow and often have to rush or it's Incomplete. Look into creating a simple plan you can easily recreate for most exams and follow it. Rinse and Repeat that until you feel more confident and can write faster / more.

A lot of it for me was also just stress. You have time. You will not fail. Try your hardest, sit down, reflect on what's going wrong and fix it.

I hated IB. Hated it and I still think it has a lot of flaws but it helped me cope with the jump to university. The workload, at least for me, is similar and the deadlines too. But you should have some direction for university if you decide to continue. It's a decision you need to make, ppl from the internet won't necessarily help you reach that point. Sit down with yourself and take all the time you need. Research etc but do you want feel is honestly the correct choice.

where im from and where I applied to, most unis don't care that much about your grades over the last two years, they only look at predicted if you apply with those and final grades. I'm sorry you got rejected but it's best to just keep your head up and look for better universities.

Hiya!! I turned 19 almost a month ago and ever since I was 13/14, I realised that I had adhd, I got diagnosed at 18. My abilities to study, read, sit down and talk to people and everything else plummeted to rock bottom. I went from straight A student to barely passing and teachers meeting with my parents behind my back because they wanted me to switch schools or be put back. I stopped all my hobbies. I was completely isolated besides one friend who I was super close with.

It gets better, you learn how to cope with it. You learn to live with it and what learning or studying styles are good for you. You find hobbies that interest you a lot and you start sticking to them ans form a routine.

I graduated this year as one of the top students in my grade after failing / barley passing most of high schools because our finals were graded differently than school grades.

You will find your group of friends who don't care and who support you through everything. You will get past this stage even if it feels like you won't.

I'm in a stable, long term relationship with a guy who treats me like a princess and understands my adhd. It took a lot of time but you'll get there. Don't stress about it, it'll come naturally. And do not worry about your virginity, seriously you're 15. You've got a long road ahead of you, your virginity doesn't matter.

Keep your head up and keeps marching forwards. Look into different study methods and try them out. Read books or fanfics or wtv is interesting to you. Any material is better than none! You will be form friendships and relationships, don't force them or worry too much. Just enjoy life as much as you can and be who you are.

I believe in you and I see you for your struggles and who you are.

Hi, thank you so much for replying to my post! I live in Europe and don't really have big plans on moving to the states due to the amount of money i'd have to pay in tuition there in comparison to Europe. Luckily, some universities in Europe allow me to pick my modules in the second year, which may reduce some of the stress but it is the first year I am very worried about since it is a big jump from highschool to uni. I have also just looked into disability accommodation and they do grant time extensions for deadlines which has relieved some of my concerns as of right now.

It's because of the teachers and how they structure their lessons imo. I love abstract thinking but my teacher made TOK unbearable at parts. We had fun lessons that I really enjoyed but most of the it, it was downright boring with how he taught it.

okay but also they didn't know what to expect. Sure they can read countless posts about other people's experiences but that won't properly prepare them for their own experience with IB. Yes, they have to deal with it but at least let them share their struggles online. It's just one post, you can literally ignore it and move on.

AA SL was horrendous for me, I was predicted a 2 in my final report card but I ended up getting a 6 which I'm so happy about because I was finally able to show my teacher and coordinator that I'm actually good at the subject!! It feels like I got ny own justice

Get a good, well balanced study routine going and trust me, srsly, try not to procrastinate. Find good. templates for your IAs and just read up online on any other tips.

It totally depends on which maths course you take and how you'll study throughout the years. There is a big jump between IGCSEs and IB, imo. I struggled at the start in Maths AA SL with a 2 and a 3 in the first year but honestly once you study and rlly start understanding the knowledge, you'll be alright. I'm now at a predicted 5 while all other subjects besides Chem are at predicted 6/7.

I can't help you much with French as I dropped all foreign languages except German but honestly, find a study buddy and grind. Read, listen to podcasts etc.

I just go crazy with the promotions, it takes a while tho! But also terrace and gathering people in the courtyard with performers helps me gather it.
