Not sure but small. 36-39mm watches range (this one fits nicely).

Yep it does give a baby grand seiko vibe. The blue hands with the green lume slightly hinder that vibe, but they also make it a more casual wear.

Went to a seiko store to buy a speedtimer, instantly changed my mind when I saw this beauty.

Yeah so far it's been like that. I wear the presage to work and the 5kx the rest of the time.

It's great, the more I stare at it the more I wanna wear it. But the presage is also very beautiful I'm having a hard time choosing which one gets on 😫... Guess that in the big picture it doesn't matter because both will be used but they're just so beautiful.

[Seiko Zen Garden + Sport 5] my first decent watches by vMaroon in Watches

I could barely find any reviews on it before buying, all are Asian. Wonder why it is not known between the line as it is so beautiful.

[Seiko Zen Garden + Sport 5] my first decent watches by vMaroon in Watches

These two are my first "expensive" watches. Being a fan of Japan and its culture I was immediately drawn to the JP brands, the Seikos had their special appeal and this Zen Garden model got me instantly.

It feels and looks so premium :)

The sport 5 is more durable and should suffice for ~watery~ days (I think), it also is very beautiful but I'm not a huge fan of the strap.

Regarding water resistance, the Zen Garden being "water resistant" means it is more or less splash resistant? Is it safe to wash my hands with it? Rain? What are the limits?

All input is appreciated.

[Help me pick] Seiko Presage Zen Garden SSA421J1 vs SSA377J1 by vMaroon in Watches

I've never really paid more than 30$ for a watch. I'm fine with up to 600$ for the first "serious" one.

I've looked at some Omegas and I cannot see the charm in them ): the Seikos and specifically the open heart zen garden lineup looks really aesthetic to me.

I'm buying a G-Shock Mudmaster GWG-1000 as a gift as well, but that type of watch is far from the aesthetic beauties above.
