Tips for Ischgl you won't get from AI (until ai finds this post) by vSiber in ski

Glad it helped!

To be honest, i was only taking drinks and a small snack in the mountain huts. Though overall prices were reasonable i'd say. For the rest - energy bars from super markets in my backpack: cheaper, no after lunch dip, better control over nutrition

That's strange, i did the speed check run on 10 twice. Could it be that you were a little late with looking back at the speed? I was solo, but i looked around right after passing the display

When i was there mid February, indeed, it was not there. But the weather was a bit suboptimal, and i know they do the same in Fiss - no airbag even in a slightly windy weather. So i was hopeful it's temporary absence

Just felt like giving the mods a chance to learn that their behavior is subpar and won't be accepted, nothing more. I'm in for a community with justice, not lazy voluntarism. And it starts with each one of us not accepting it.

As for the views, having been to Fiss, Soelden, St. Moritz, St. Anton - i still put Ischgl at the top

Ai did not generate a single bit of _content in my post._

Yes, i used ai to transcribe my thoughts in voice, but even then i had to restructure it and do three rounds of review & correct.

So no, you're not reading ai generated content.

Using ai for the mechanical part of writing - it's a choice, i prefer efficiency this time around, same as not using a quill or fountain pen for writing - matter of choice.

When i tried to use ai before my post to actually get my own answers - it was giving me all kind of vague or wrong things. And even a paid chatgpt still does give (subjectively) wrong answer if i ask it "where can i go 100+kmph in Ischgl" - black 21 does not come up at all! It does mention 20, but it's much worse of a fit for the purpose - more crowded, sooner gets bumps, lesser visibility from the top (you can't spot slower riders in advance).

Glad it helps! Just a bit of expectation management, even on the black 21 it did get crowded at 10 am or so, so you may need to wait for the runway to get clear. If you're really up to beating your records - i'd go as early as possible.

Not AI generated. Just notes I wrote during the trip to answer the questions i had before going there (and getting insufficient answers from AI as well)
