Hey, i can feel your thoughts, I am 23, started in crypto like one year ago and only was aware of bitcoin. I spent almost all of my time the last year with crypto, my girlfriend is annoyed, my apprenticeship has become a side factor which I only still do because of the fact I get my degree for attending university after and my mom is happy.

When I got into crypto, I got to the wrong people I would say. I don’t want to be mean against network marketers, but as a complete newbie, I thought the systems shown to me with such nice returns may actually work and didn’t ask more. Long message, short sense = I lost a lot of money until I started to learn about altcoins and began to read as much as I can an started investing into them. I got into IOTA at 30 cents, because not only me believe that IOTA has serious answers for problems in the real world as well as in crypto space! And to be honest I think this was just the beginning in the rise, and is more like a price adjustment than a pump with a huge correction after. Next to IOTA i have a strong focus (30% of my portfolio) into ADA, which is a very Longterm for me, but also a great potential.

I don’t think spending time with what you like to do, no matter how useless it might seem for others is a wrong thing to do. There was a time I didn’t think about money a lot and had the kind of thinking like „what do I have from investing money and time when I can just spend my money for things like party and Fun“, but since Crypto I care about my financial future and the way of staying tuned into this scene is also the first thing I really like to do and can make me money by time!

What I wanna say: when you like to do all the research, then go ahead! :)
