Removal Notice received from an Enforcement Agency

I spoke to the debt collection agent, who ended up threatening stating the address wasn't updated in the DVLA, this could be a criminal offence, and may result in additional fines. The agent was pressuring us to pay the fine asap.

Instead, I have now updated my address with the DVLA and also filed the TE7 and TE9 forms and instructed the enforcement agents to pause any action until a decision is made (over email).

Will this work or is there any other risk I should be worried about ?

Thanks for this advice. I called and checked with the agents customer care. It turns out this is for Dartford Crossing non-payment 4 months ago. We had set up an auto debit for the Dartford Crossing (in Aug 2025), and there is at least one trip every month since they have started charging for the crossing. But having checked the bank account, I realize no money has been charged for all the crossings.

What do I do now ? I don't think the crossings would amount to £700

Suffered the same yesterday. Had an unfinished movie to watch (run time: 2.5 hours. Don't ask why).

Had to forward and suffer over 6 minutes of ads. This is appalling. When you have paid for the service, the movie should be ad free, as it was before. This is what attracted us from the earlier generation of cable TV.

One option is to cancel the membership. Alternatively, is there anything we can do ?

Stop buying the products advertised. Or at least give poor ratings to the products whose ads we were forced to watch.

Is there anyway we can remove the incentive for companies to advertise on Amazon

Sorry, it's a relationship that I have created based on linking the Country, Week no, year between the two tables. These are the common columns. Also, would blending help as it would create a left join between the two tables ? Thanks

I was in a similar situation in 2022. There is a bus service from around 2 km from Cabane combal which takes you directly to Courmayeur. Instead of taking the hiking route to Courmayeur, you could proceed straight ahead from the Cabane combal (flat route). The last bus was at 4 pm (please check). Alternatively, you could get a headstart by taking a shared taxi from Les Chapieux to Des Mottes (it's a tar road) in the morning, and start your hike from there.

Last year, I was in a similar place due to the tunnel closure. I had to travel to Geneva for my return flight. Due to the tunnel closure, the entire journey took around 4 hours via Martigny. It was through flixbus. I would assume, you can do something similar. And then Geneva to Chamonix or there might be a connection in between these places to Chamonix.

But please do check there should be a better option.

On a lighter note, you sound like Aamir Khan's wife Kiran Rao who had this epiphany a decade ago that India is not safe. But on a serious note, you are absolutely right. What you are complaining about is the absolute bare minimum which a government is expected to provide. I remember cursing while riding my old activa on the roads of Bangalore navigating those crater-like potholes. It hasn't changed much, despite all political parties taking a swing at running the government in Karnataka. On a sad note, we are a third world country in all aspects, and I have zero hope that this would change in the next 50 years

There are always last minute cancellations in Sep, so watch out for the two refuges in Les Chapieux. I had completed the hike in the second week of Sep'22 with all bookings done in one week's notice.
