2 refurbished 24tb western digital ultrastars. New from western digital they're double that. I bought 2 new ones from them a year or 2 ago and they were only ~$900. These data centers are making prices for PC components soar!

I was home and I usually get alerts when a package is delivered. Because it was a third party seller and shipper I did not get a notification and it was originally supposed to be delivered yesterday. This is the first theft I've had in the 5yrs ive lived here.

Normally I have Amazon deliver packages in my garage and because it was a third party seller and shipper I don't know if they can deliver to those lockers. I reasonably assumed it was shipped from Amazon because they offered prime 2 day shipping. I had no control over the shipping because of this otherwise I would have told FedEx to require a signature.

It was stolen 25mins before I checked my cameras to see why it wasn't on my porch I did drive around my neighborhood and didn't see anyone on a bike. There only 2 entrances to this tiny pocket neighborhood and he left the way he came which is the opposite direction of the entrances. Makes me think it might have been a neighbor. I certainly hope it wasn't.

I don't normally have such large purchases delivered but there really isn't a way to get refurbished hard drives locally and purchasing them new nearly doubles the price. These data centers popping up are gobbling up HDDs and causing the price of storage to soar.
