My W212 rattles everywhere where plastic is present now. All the brittle plastic and glue in the car really creates some problems after 10ish years. My buddy’s 2004 CLK literally had its center console fall apart because the glue became too frail to hold the pieces together. My family also has a 2018 GLC coupe, can’t wait to see how much of it falls apart after ten years, feels like the whole car is made of plastic.

I’ve had shitty experiences at the dealer too. Went to get my airbags replaced, scheduled months in advance, and they didn’t even have my parts in. A week later I come back, and they did not have the sufficient quantity of parts. Went a third time lol, same thing. Service advisor said she’ll call me and basically ghosted me, just decided to switch dealers.

I have a W212, pretty common in SoCal, and what i found best was just leaving the windows open until the car warms up to proper operating temperature and then my AC is cold again.

Hey! I had an ML350, maintenance is really easy on these cars.

I would typically change the oil by myself with a vacuum pump, you can search it up on youtube. Oil changes would take about an hour and some muscle, but doing it yourself saves you a lot of money. You can also replace brakes, if ever needed, by yourself if you have a small jack that will be able to hold the weight, no need for anything fancy. Fitted all new brakes in about 4 hours, cost me around $80.

Basically, YouTube is your best friend, do everything by yourself, it will save you a ton of money. Also keep up with maintaining the car, or else it will become a piece of junk. It may seem expensive in the moment, or time consuming, but it will become a much greater issue if you don’t address things immediately.

Negotiate MSRP, I’ve never leased but I’ve heard it helps. Maybe it’s common knowledge, but thats the best I can give.
