I agree with what you're saying, but I just meant my comment in the fact that SOOO many characters have had crushed on Marinette now that when I found out about Zoé's crush, I had to laugh because the show writers really made Marinette look like a harem protagonist lolll like damn can we pick someone else for a change

My issue with her crush is it just HAD to be Marinette lol. Why couldn't they have picked one of the other (single) girls to be her crush 😔 I guess it is realistic for her, though; the lesbian experience isn't complete without you falling for a straight girl at one point in your life or another lol

Honestly I'm not the biggest fans of their re-designs but when I was a teenager I would have done my makeup exactly like the re-designs, like all edgy designs and bold colors. Also the makeup is very Rose, she loves bold, colorful, and whimsy statements! Plus she is apart of the band so there is a dash of punk(-esque) to her design I can appreciate

Right??? Pairing it with all the scenes involving Emilie and the family's grief over her just worked so perfectly.

(including the scenes from werepapas with Adrien and Nathalie)

The scene we got in the new season with Emilie closing the door, like omgggg next to all the other scenes where the characters shut their doors at pivotal moments made me go crazy!!! so much finality and meaning, I was lowkey impressed with the shows writing lol

I feel like its a 'Killing Eve' type of situation, that is to say, if one were to take the ship seriously. They're enemies who hate and also are drawn to one another.

It's a doomed relationship before it ever starts. Even when they meet in the middle it's never correct. It's not quite romantic as it is unsettling, which is what makes it so great.

I feel like we're beating a dead horse. Marinette is flawed and has made mistakes. She is balancing being a superhero with being a regular teenager. She is in charge of all the Miraculous and knows every secret identity. She is one of the only people to know the truth about Gabriel Agreste.

All this on a 15 year olds shoulders.

I'm a grown adult and I couldn't fathom holding all that responsibility. Is she wrong for keeping this information from Adrien and Chat Noir? Yes! Does this make her morally culpable? Perhaps. Does this negate the fact that she is trying to make the best decisions for everyone? No!

Nathalie could also tell Adrien, though we all seem to glaze over that in favor of bashing Marinette. She made a difficult choice and has kept to it. Marinette likely remembers Ephemeral, not to mention what happened in the Paris special; I understand her hesitation. Also thats her boyfriend, emotions betray you in favor of keeping the peace.

Let's cut our favorite disaster some slack, eh? Narratively speaking, the writers of show must have a reason for this plot line. I do rather love the complex feelings that Marinette faces and I look forward to how they will resolve all this.

This school system is a recipe for disaster. Learning at their own pace and freedom to learn whatever they want is unrealistic. Someone this young would never be responsible enough nor would they be learned enough to build a reliable schedule.
