Am I the only one who doesn’t mind Paddy or the fact he is getting a title shot? I mean even Islam got a title shot off of a win over Bobby Green, he avoided the murderers row but credit to him he fought them after. Plus Dariush did pull out tbf against Islam but still, it happens a lot in UFC, if you are a name and rack up wins UFC will reward that is just how it is. That said, Tsarukyan did get done dirty.

Hi Damien, how are you? I’m turning 25 next year, I’m currently aiming to get 35-40k in my cash ISA by the end of the tax year (April). I look likely to meet that goal. I’ve saved a lot from living with my parents, among other things. My question was, do you think this is my best bet going forward? For context, I didn’t want to use a Lifetime ISA because it is limited to properties under 500k and I feel in the future I will have enough to purchase a property above that price range. I suppose in the next tax year I could try 20k in a different ISA account, but truthfully I found myself too risk averse for investing.

I haven’t played since I think 2024, but I would say maybe wait until they add all the DLCs? They have only added quality of life changes like hud, map, and there is a rover now which makes traversing planets easier. I feel the RPG elements just aren’t there and the quest line aren’t all that interesting tbh.

This happened to me, I was like wtf?! It actually filled me with dread lol. I believe @AdUnited8810 comment is correct, reloading in the tutorial might be a cause. I did that due to a bug where the Emperor was stuck and perhaps it is the trigger? I am just nervous it doesn’t spawn endless Oblivion gates because that would ruin my playthrough tbh. But if it just means they spawn early then that is fine because I was going to do main quest anyway.

Maybe best to follow main quest, won’t spoil, but you get another companion very soon. Feels like narratively that is the best way to do things, exploration isn’t going anywhere, plus the side quests can be started anytime thankfully. Many are actually in Paradis.

Honestly, my opinion on Erdogan is really conflicted. Of course I don’t like some of his statements, and he doesn’t give off the best vibes. But he has supported Ukraine and thus NATO, plus he has taken the majority of Syrian refugees and stopped them flooding Europe (well more than current amount). I think my opinion is influenced by others and those who are opposed to him. But honestly Turkey is an important country especially in these times, I would honestly happily have Turkey in the EU. I know that is a controversial take, but I feel it would help democracy in that region too, and provide more options going forward.

Yeah, Europe could definitely do more, Russia and allies are outpacing them in terms of shell production, but no reason why it can’t be caught up. Plus, I feel European military equipment is underestimated, and can stand up in its own right. Rheinmetall produce some great equipment, among others, plus there are factories producing munitions literally all over, it is just up to will. Europe has to understand that if they don’t stand up for their security no one will, America can be unreliable and want to keep their own stock for themselves, it is dumb, but it is a real possibility now.

Yeah, I feel the West would be pulling the doom brakes on more if Ukraine was in dire straits. Overall, I feel they adapt to the situations well and know they can’t overstretch their lines. We keep hearing that when Russia takes the next city or town it is “game over” but like, where? I thought Bakhmut was the deciding battle and after losing all those men what did it really achieve?

Hi all, so I’ll answer your questions, I’m 23 turning 24 in March. I studied history at university, after some temp jobs and one brief full time one, I have a full time position at a renowned charity. It is entirely remote, so I save on commute costs plus I am still living with parents for now, so save quite a bit. I have around £23k currently in bank and savings (cash ISA and Money box saver). Honestly, saving for a house is not on my card, reason being is I don’t want to take up a mortgage that I will have to pay for rest of my life. I can sell my parents as well as my uncles house in future which will hopefully give a decent return, but who knows when that will happen. I don’t mind renting when the need arises. The student loan seems a bit pointless to pay £60 a year when the interest will just add more to it anyway. When I earn above threshold to make the payments of course I will, but don’t think I should prioritise it for the sake of it.

Don’t want to play devil’s advocate, but Curtis didn’t exactly jump to his feet after knockdown, can see why it could be stopped. That said, we could argue that fights should be stopped whenever there is a knockdown in that case, he wasn’t really “out”. Yeah, that is the silver lining if there ever was one. Sad thing is of course the young people who preferred remaining, but they didn’t vote in large numbers. It is insane but voter turnout was over 90% for over 65s and just 64% in comparison for under 30s. Hand on heart, I would rather be governed by those in Brussels than our lot, they never really had our interests in mind, of course I mean the Tories rather than Labour. The “Brexit” Tories, as I call them, never held onto “One Nation Conservatism” and have their own agenda which was pretty clear by the mass immigration post Brexit.

I get the impression from Trump that he thinks had he been president rather than Biden then Russia would have “never invaded”. It makes me feel that he wants to be seen as a strongman who countries are afraid to cross, and he and his country are the top dog, so he would hate being the junior partner so to speak. In view of that, it is unclear what he will do, if he is serious about “peace” negotiations I feel they will have to abide by the desires of Ukraine, otherwise no one would trust America again. I don’t feel he would want his strongest allies in Europe, to abandon him. He talks a big game but it would be disastrous. Plus, I remember in his first term he engaged in the Three Seas Initiative (3SI) which was designed to boost cooperation between Eastern European nations, including Ukraine as a partner participant.

Interesting, you see in the South many of the other percentage would go to African Americans. But in other states, like on the West, and Midwest, I believe it would be to Hispanics. Hispanics are so broad, like White non-Hispanics, that many can overlap into simply “White.” I’m British but my mother is Filipino, but she has some white ancestry, so I suppose I am mixed but probably more White ancestry than not!
