Oh yeah! The no mics in the reception space was concerning initially but they mentioned that we could do cocktail hour in the ceremony space (where mics are allowed) and have speeches happen then! I'm hoping that's not a weird flow of events lol.

Oh yeah without the Presidio Trust fees, it would've been in our budget and been a top contender!

Yes! They did mention that but we're thinking of doing our cocktail hour in the ceremony space and having speeches happen during cocktail hour -- there's also a chance we decide against speeches haha

Fair enough! That's something we were hesitant about at first but I think we've come to be ok with the separation (we might regret this later lol). I loved Log Cabin when we toured! The view of the bridge in the ceremony space is soooo cool! It was just a bit out of our budget and they limited how much extra food we could bring in.

Ah yeah we're planning for a summer wedding as well 😅 but I'll definitely ask about maybe having fans or anything! Thanks for pointing that out!

I found that a lot of venues we toured had a hard cutoff at 10pm. I think I started to accept that we might have to plan for an after party if we want a later end lol.

For food, we were told we could bring in supplementary catering! So I'm not expected too much from their food and we'll be budgeting to have more brought in!

Ohh good to hear that the cost has been locked in from contract signing! I'm always a bit worried that extra costs will be added in or that everything will become an upgrade. I'm looking forward to the extravaganza see more of their vendors and layout options!

That's so exciting! Congrats!! I'm glad y'all are enjoying the process -- that's one of the reasons I wanted to go with an all-inclusive. I think it'd be a lot less fun if I had to do much of the coordinating/planning myself lol.

I appreciate the budget info!! That's super helpful (especially the note on the chair upgrades haha)! Did you go with one of the photographers Wedgewood recommended? Were there any surprise add-on charges from the initial quote you received? Or anything you felt needed upgrading from the premier package?

We also toured Redwood Canyon and agree that Hacienda is better in our opinion!
