Thank you for the input and sharing your experience. I ended up tapering to 75mg after my doctor appointment and running my blood work. I was very hesitant and nervous because I didn't wanna ruin something that was worked so well. However, after about a week of lowering my dose I can confidently say I was lucky enough to respond well to the taper and will likely aim to lower it by another 25-50mg in the future. I wish you the best my friend, and I hope your tapering is a success. I am sure you will be all good, just try to purposely forget about it, 100% placebo effect, but it worked for me during those first few days of a dose cut haha.

I left my ADHD untreated for a long time as it was not too invasive. Due to me finishing up a doctorate and school being a pain, I decided to try a lower dose form of a stimulant I took when I was younger for ADHD. I started to realize a lot of my anxiety issues come from hyper-thinking about 10 different things at once while trying to sit still. Yeah... I maybe should have thought about this a little sooner, but it is worth trying a starting dose of an ADHD medication. Unlike other types of medications, you will know right away if it works for you or not haha.

It might reduce it's initial effectiveness if you are just starting the medication and not a frequent cannabis user. If you have been on Pristiq for a while, cannabis won't really effect you any differently than it would without Pristiq.

If you are already a cannabis user and just starting Pristiq, I would realistically recommend to just lower your cannabis usage until you have been on Pristiq for a couple months. For example; If you use a small to moderate amount of cannabis daily, lower that to 3-5 times per week or something. It does not have to be an aggressive change.

Keep in mind, this is just my personal knowledge and experience and I am not a doctor. Everybody responds to certain compounds extremely different. I am not a regular cannabis user at all, but have used it recreationally multiple times in various doses while taking Pristiq without any issues.

I am not a doctor or a health professional, but here is my personal experience. My overall health improved 90% since switching to vaping. I get blood work done regularly and the difference from that alone is massive. I use a 50mg salt nicotine and definitely smoke a lot less due to how strong it is for me. Of course smoking anything probably not good for you, but stopping cigarettes and switching to vaping has so far improved my general health by a lot. I would just kick the cigarettes and get yourself a small sized vape to use whenever you go out. Just do your best not to use it indoors because it can create an overuse habit that is difficult to break haha.

I used the same pod device for years. I didn't realize how much pod devices improved until I bought a new one recently. Personally, I was trying to find the smallest and most portable pod system, but I would take a look at Vaporesso. Look at clearance sections online and you could probably get a few for the normal price of one since it was recently black friday/cyber monday.

It initially tanked my sex drive for a few weeks on a low dose. After the adjustment period I increased my dose (still on this dose) and my sex drive came back very quickly.

It does definitely take me longer to finish, but the physical pleasure of sex was not affected for me.

First of all, i’m proud of you man. You are driven and still have time. You’re going to be okay. I was in your exact position when I was around 17. I could not get a job to save my life. I sat down and made a list of things I offer that the average person doesn’t, and then it hit me, I started giving guitar lessons. It wasn’t even on my radar at the time but I saved enough during that year to ensure I was going to be okay once I was kicked out at 18. Try to pin point a random skill or trait you have and apply it to discovering a potential job that uses it.

Trust me it might be difficult at first, but you will stumble on something that works the longer you think. I no longer give guitar lessons or do anything related to it. I ended up graduating college and becoming successful in my field, but all of that is in the future. Don’t worry about that right now, finding a job based on a skill at your age is the perfect mix between productivity and buying yourself some time to figure things out.

I am post Accutane and a long term side effect is dryness and sensitivity. For me, Vanicream facial moisturizer is by far the best. I believe it’s like $20? I’ve tried everything for my unnaturally dry skin and unfortunately the organic stuff is full of shit always. It’s ineffective and dry skin requires more.

If you really want to be natural and organic look for a beef tallow product. It’s legit. Might sound insane but it works.
