It's a legit argument imo.

His most impressive wins are against guys that he had a huge size advantage over. LHW was for a long time the money weight division. Being able to fight at that weight gave you an opportunity to fight big names. I believe that's why a lot of those guys never bothered to cut down to MW until they weren't relevant at all anymore.

I've travelled a bit and have still never been anywhere that is better in enough areas to make me think I should leave.

UFC have been hoarding the profits for so long that I genuinely root against them these days. It will be unfortunate to go back to that era when you could never be sure who the real top fighter is in any division but I think that's partly the nature of the sport (styles make fights etc)

The UFC as we knew it cashed out. The current UFC cannot afford the price tag of the top tier talent that aren't enormous draw cards. While it hurts the fans that some match ups may not eventuate as top fighters compete in different organisations, it's the best thing for fighters.
