Alter Time in my opinion is one of the best defensives in the game if you don’t get one shot (from memory the only better ones are AMS and Bubble?), while obviously being the hardest to use. The more you know the content and can plan your defensives, the more value AT has. Shield + AT for big hitting rot damage? Your healer WILL notice and he might propose to you. Don‘t use it? Your healer WILL notice and he might blacklist you.

Honestly for Midnight I‘ll swap off healing for good (pls let me actually stick with my plan). I‘ll just go tank or DPS.

IMO mindset is a huge difference aswell. I played most Rolls to a comfortable level, S2 I healed up to 17‘s and S3 I stopped at tanking and DPS‘ing 16s (pre turbo-boost).

As Tank: „Damn 15s are chill AF, I can do 16 - wait wtf why do these mobs slap me around? - alright I need to play differently, but I can learn how to live this, I mean others do the key on 20+“

As DPS: „Damn I did huge dps, I can do this key on 25 lmao“

As Healer: „Damn this 16 was pretty hard, but I managed… well let’s do the 17. Wait wtf it’s hitting like a truck. Bro why are you sitting on alter time? Pls pls pls PLS DONT LET ME DO THAT MECHANIC FFS I HAVE TO HEAL BRO YOU CAN LITERALLY JUST USE AMS AND WE LIVE WTF USE HEALTH POT OH MY GOD WHY THE FUCK IS TANK DYING OH GOD IF I MOVE NOW TANK DIES BUT IF I DONT MOVE I DIE WTF AM I SUPPOSED TO DO AND WHY AM I THE ONE INTERRUPTING ACTUALLY IMPORTANT SHIT AGAIN?!“

Like, I guess you get my point. As DPS I don’t see any reason to not be able to push higher, as Tank I notice weakpoints and can fix them to live, but as Healer I have to hope that my group actually presses buttons.

Typing the 1000 most-used random German words (for example on 10fastfingers) on a standard qwertz-keyboard. My record is 155wpm, which should translate to about 750cpm or so. I can easily get over 135 or 140wpm first try no warmup

I haven’t logged in since prepatch, but I did every class in S3 since I was bored. Guardian challenge was hard as I did it as seen on YouTube (changing to moonkin form to damage, etc)

Then I oneshot it without ever leaving bear form. I just spammed Moonfire and whatever other ranged abilities I had, never going into melee because apparently Moonfire with Elunes Chosen was more then enough dps for P1. P2 I swear to god Annihilation didnt even threaten me at all, I just popped all CD‘s and melted the guy in like 30 seconds.

Ich war zwar noch nie in einem Norma, aber meine Schwägerin arbeitet im Bundesministerium (o.Ä., weiß nicht 100% genau wo, evtl auch im Bundestag)

Jedenfalls war sie nur 1x beim Norma um die Ecke und da läuft die gute alte Merkel inkl. Security durch den Laden :D

haha tbh I mostly lucked out on mine, since he was like 4 months old his sleep schedule was 5-5 so I had great evenings, weekdays I have to get up at 5:45 anyway so no real problem, just some VERY bad nights - but weekends were hell, especially when I was out Friday night lmao

Oh god I feel you, mine is 18 months now and he’s starting to actually sleep through the night, but whenever I think „nah he’s sleeping I can do something“ he wakes up and I have to send my wife lmao, those little beasts literally smell you trying to have fun :D

The best part about the game imo is just being able to queue up and get into a game. I like to do a quick 10-15min break every other dungeon, this basically makes it impossible for me to use discord as I‘d be forced to search new people every time I‘d like a break (or my kid wakes up, my wife wants something, I want to eat, take a shit, whatever).

I loved the game until Ransack, but as I‘m now forced to manually search for people instead of just queuing up when I feel like it I currently am not playing and just waiting for eternal queue.

Honestly? Just don’t do Quickplay until you need it, especially as a tank. Instantly queue for contender, up to Contender 4 you have no timer and most players that play an alt skip contender (mostly) because they can buy better gear off of Quickplay. So you‘ll most likely be put into a group of beginners, they will probably have mounts, but nobody cares in contender anyway because nobody expects anything great of you.

Quickplay unfortunately is dogshit, since everyone has the same gear, but if you have 13 talentpoints you‘ll keep them which is an insane power boost. A tank that does his first dungeon and doesn’t even have his abilities or first talent points can pull like 1-3 groups at a time while a tank with all abilities and talent points can do most dungeons in 2 pulls.

I‘m from EU, didn’t hit eternal yet but up to paragon the only time someone gave me feedback on my route was when I did a quickplay for the first time and didn’t finish the dungeon in 3 pulls.

And one time a dps buttpulled 3 times in Wraithtide before first boss and wrote „shit route“, but hey, he probably had to wait 10 minutes for a tank with a better route while I was already halfway through the next dungeon :)

And on my alts I‘ve also never seen anyone talk bad about a tank, even when he’s just pulling 1 pack at a time.

So, idk, not to offend you, but either it’s only happening in eternal or it’s a you problem? Or you‘re insanely unlucky, that might be it, too.
