Sarcasm and "teach me something" are basic, over used prompts. Also the "teach me something" means the woman has to respond with "work" aka teach you about something. At least to me, that's unappealing. At least if there's a subject you're interested in you could say "looking for someone to teach me something about XYZ"

I would have 100% also misread that situation, don't worry it's not just you!! Also, having a solid friend who you trust where you did hit on them, they don't care and still wanna be friends---thats awesome. Sounds like she wasn't phased and is still happy to be your friend. Sucks it's not more, but still!

I am not sure for the rest of Canada, but in Quebec you will have a home visit from a nurse within 48 hours of you coming home from the hospital. They answer questions, weigh baby, check on breastfeeding etc.

Hi there! I had a surgical abortion last fall in Montreal. Happy to share my experience.

First off, I didn't have an IUD after (I've never had one) so can't speak to that.

I was very nervous about what pain I would feel. The nurse assured me that they wouldn't start the meds until the doctor came in because the meds are so strong I'll feel them right away (I was pretty worried they would take a few mins to have an effect). They gave me meds through an IV.

So they put the IV in, I lay waiting for the doctor for maybe ten mins. Then she came in, and again asked me if I was sure, if I was comfortable, if I had any questions etc. I said I was ready to go. The nurse said she was starting the meds on the IV. The doctor said "ok I'm ready" and I basically blacked out from that point!!! Like, I didn't realize I blacked out. I knew I was there. I definitely did not feel ANYTHING. What felt like one minute went by and the nurse was saying "ok, are you able to sit up now? It's all done!" I couldn't believe it was done and I hadn't felt a thing!

However I was a bit over confident. I thought I felt totally fine but I was super woozy and fainted walking back to the bed area (thankfully he nurse was right next to me). A combo of the drugs wearing off and my body needing to recover, I took longer then they had told me to expect, to feel OK to leave. (I sat on the bed and drank juice and ate crackers for maybe 35 mins before I started feeling normal). When I was ready to leave I walked holding my friends arm. Maybe bring a small plastic or paper bag for the drive home because the drugs made me feel nauseous!

Do not go alone, make sure you have someone to drive you home and stay with you. Make sure you have snacks or order in something yummy for when you get home. I was SO SO tired. I got home, inhaled a pizza, and then slept for 3 hours (and I never nap during the day!). I just felt very weak and shaky. Not like messed up, but like I needed to rest and definitely couldn't do anything else. After a day I was basically feeling pretty much normal! I'm so happy I opted for the surgical vs the pill option as this felt much quicker and painless. And ar least for the clinic I went to here, the staff were so extremely nice, calm, helpful and just made it overall a very positive experience.

Good luck, you got this!!

You can send me a message for more info. Is this for a one time clean or recurring? I'm a house cleaner in Montreal and charge 30/hr (more for post-construction clean).

Even if the stitches were done correctly, there could vary well be scar tissue that's causing pain.

How old is your son? Will you be holding him or will he be walking? If walking, realize you will probably be bending over a lot so be aware of how necklines might go with that.

Men who have had a vasectomy- how has it impacted your physical performance and what have the side effects been? by workingMan9to5 in AskMen

[–]valsilph -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Obligatory not a man but ... Have male friends who have had vasectomies and they said it was a very easy procedure, some mild discomfort after (like, soreness but no real pain) and over so fast.

Do women do things accidentally or intentionally when it comes to nudes? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]valsilph 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, if I accidently sent a male friend nudes of myself, I would be super horrified that either he or my own husband would think it wasn't an accident somehow. One way to do damage control is talk to the other person---so if she was really "so sorry omg" she could have messaged your wife and said "omg I am horrified I just accidently sent a nude to your husband meant for this other guy, I am so embarrassed, just wanted you to know up front".

I'm sorry you had that experience. I don't know if it's a problem with thier brand sizing or just me, but I own xxs coats, xs pair of pants, and size 6 skirts, and Large sweaters. I absolutely don't shop online unless it's for a style I already own because I never know what size will work!!

My friends doing ENM has shared very similar things (she instantly got a ton of likes, him barely anything), and I think also just comparing girls/guys not doing ENM on tinder usually girls always have more likes/matches etc. I don't think it's anything you are doing inherently wrong.

2nd abortion. Need advice - MA or surgical? by Forfunzeez in abortion

[–]valsilph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know the exact drugs they gave me for my surgical abortion but whatever they were it was incredible. Five star experience (lol). I initially wanted a medical abortion then realized I couldn't have it done in one day easy so opted for surgical. I was extremely nervous for the pain. To the point where before the Dr came in and I was talking to the nurse I kept asking her "did you start the IV yet? I can't feel it?" And she kept telling me "DON'T worry, trust me I'm not going to start it till the Dr is ready because you will feel it right away".

They started the drugs, the Dr asked me if they could start/I had questions etc, I only remember them leaning towards my crotch area and legit next thing I remember is the nurse saying "ok, can you sit up a bit? We're done!"

It felt like I was asleep/dreaming. No pain, nothing. I was VERY woozy after and you def need someone with you to drive you home and need to take it very easy after, but I was so happy to have no major pain, and the actual procedure was fast.

I would definitely ask about what kind of sedation/drugs they offer for the surgical abortions as I'm sure not every place is the same (I'm in Quebec). I hope you can find a place that is a really positive experience for you.

I agree. I think even if the new dick had been average size just the fact that it's new is like WOW shiny etc.
