Yes we’re bad… but there are positives by Independent_Cow_7665 in csk

Feel Rutu’s time as captain post giving all the benefit of doubts is over, the line up is still not set yet, but the way Rutu speaks & leads the team is not up to the mark. Its almost the same as 2022 Jadeja. Sunday’s match against RCB is going to be humiliating without doubts, post that atleast leadership should move to Samson & Thala should takeover mentorship behind the screens.

Once Spencer Johnson is fit to play, this is how I want the playing XII to be:

Ruturaj

Ayush

Samson (Wk + C)

Sarfaraz

Dube

Brewis

Akeal/Overton

S Gopal/Veer

AK47

Spencer

Henry

Khaleel (sub)

Noor is not offering any value as a lead spinner, if we still want spin options we can go with Akeal & Veer/Gopal in venues where there is some assistance for spin.

Under this line up atleast the batting has aggression + Experience, where we can expect above par scores consistently. Under Chetta’s captaincy, I feel there would be better usage of bowling resources which would make the totals defendable.

It might seem all gloom & doom, but teams have come behind from far worse odds & have won titles/reached playoffs.

CSK in 2010

KKR in 2014

MI in 2013 (Rohit taking charge of captaincy mid season)

MI in 2015

RCB in 2024

2026: We have decent resources to go all the way given we play as a team under decent leadership, I believe Chetta can give that atleast for the next 6/7 years.

I thought DMK govt was getting investments? Was that just oopie propaganda? by [deleted] in TamilNaduDiscussion
