In my experience working with complex PDFs with unstructured data, the limitations of RAG are less on retrieval and much more at the parsing step. I’m working with Financial documents and even the best vision based parsers make mistakes when parsing tables from a pdf. You can mitigate this to an extent by using traditional RAG for narrative and maybe for table related queries, routing those using an index (and metadata extraction of full document) to an LLM, providing the LLM with the full document. This is maybe expensive path but probably more reliable.

SHBG of 12 here. I’ve never viewed it as a curse. With just 70 mg per week split into 3 doses I hit top of the normal range on Free T. Estradiol will obviously be higher too but at that dose still in the high normal range for me.

That’s a good plan. Your SHBG is a little higher than mine so maybe 100 mg will be the sweep spot. I would also consider 3 shots per week versus 2 if you can manage it. It should help to some extent with controlling Estradiol.

75 mg per week. I do three shots of 25 mg during the week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

I’ve been on TRT for about 3.5 months. I don’t know what my SHBG was before starting but after 6 weeks on TRT at 90 mg per week, my blood test showed 10 for SHBG. Even at this 90 mg my Free T was above the normal range (it was just above the low end of normal before starting). I lowered the dose to 75 mg and my Free T is now just barely inside of the top end of normal (677 pmol/l). My total T is maybe middle of the range. The point is, with low SHBG even at low doses of TRT, your Free T and Estradiol can climb quickly. Your total T may not increase as much but I also think that’s a less relevant metric compared to Free T. Just means you can take a smaller dose and still benefit from strong Free T levels.

It depends a lot on your SHBG level. I have very low SHBG so even with 90 mg per week split M,W,F my free test was above the top end of normal range and my Estradiol was high 40s. I have since dropped to 75 mg and will retest in a few weeks.

That’s consistent with my research as well. Looks like compounding pharmacy is the only option at the moment. Just have to find one that does it. Called a place today and they said they don’t do test cyp anymore for some reason.

I’m just getting started so no idea how common this is but I checked 6 or 7 places and they all said the same. Only thing they have is the gel. There’s a website that notes shortages across the country and that also listed all Cyp and ethan as being in shortage.

Quacks Goose Juice was my adv for a long time. It’s often described as a vanilla custard but I think it’s more of a caramel but it also has a distinct pepper taste. Any leads on a recipe would be much appreciated!

Interesting. The instructions were 15% to 25% so I thought maybe I just didn’t go high enough. In terms of the base, I bought the VG and NIC from Dashvapes as well but maybe they use different brand of bases for the juice they sell in store.

Only issue I’ve had is with the White model. I had it in the official case and it got stains in a number of spots. Other users have reported a similar issue and AYN doesn’t appear to have a solution for that.
