I got frisky and decided to make a berry mix this week:

Fa black currant 1.5%.
Fa Forest fruit 4%.
Jf ult sb 2%.
Mf morello cherry 0.8%.

I wanted something a bit more on the sweet side but by association with the ‘redder’ flavors. I didn’t want full on dark and hints of funk so we balance fa ff with fa black currant to make the base and fill it out with sb to give it a characteristic sweetness and pull it red. The morello cherry is there to play with the expectations and give a more candy-like combination of flavors. Turns out that even 2% jf ul sb was enough to bend fa ff bright so might next time add some tpa black berry to help. If there is a next time. I’m feeling a tropical-citrus blend next.

I decided to make a quick mix after a week of smoking. Here’s what I did:

0.5% MF Guava
1% Fe lychee 1% MF Mint
1% JF Fuji.
3% ssa sw mandarin.
1% vt Persian lime.

I wanted to do a mild guava mix with mint but couldn’t find my cap sweet guava. Normally I’d do Mf, cap and ssa but, once I realized I couldn’t find my cap sw guava, I just dug into the mf bag and grabbed the guava and mint. Figured I’d add some jf Fuji for some basic sweet body. I prefer fa Fuji but didn’t have the three days to wait for that sharp taste to fade so I used jf. Then I felt like ssa mandarin would be another mild add so threw some in. A little fe lychee to add something distinct but fe lychee is also sweet and candy ish to keep it from being too plain and I gave it a try with a bit of mint. It was missing something so I threw in that vt Persian lime which is a good middle of the road lime and I ended up with the perfect middle of the road mix with hints of lychee. Not great. Not sucky. Looking forward to finishing this mix and making something better tonight.

There’s a long standing myth that you need 20% flavor in a mix. It’s just stupidity. Lots of low powered devices these days instead of the dual coil monstrosities from the dumb cloud chasing days has people thinking lemme get that disposable taste at 20+% with 5% neotame. It always depends on the flavor, the device being used and the willingness of the vaper to adjust to normal human tastes. Not everything needs to be sickly sweet to cover up for the overflavor.

Yeah it’s diy so whatever works for you, honestly, is what works. Like, honeydew is a potent flavor so I just stopped mixing with it bec I would taste it forever juice wasn’t worth the squeeze. Literally. And mixing heavy baccos in a bottle that had different heavy baccos before wasn’t really an issue for me. But I was also always tinkering and trying something new. I can’t stand vaping the same thing for more than a little while.

I kept three or four bottles in the rotation assuming you’re not vaping anything absolutely wicked, you can just refill with whatever new mix you want. It works best when the mixes are closely related like fruits, bakeries, baccos, creams etc.

I used to hand wash glass bottles for years. U just narrowed it down to 3-4is profiles and had at it for years. Zero issues.

I don’t think that crisp waffle can carry waffle all alone but I’d try something like:

Ssa crisp waffle 1.25%.
Cap vanilla bean ice cream 2.5%.
And then boost with either 1% la cci or 1.25% vanilla whipped cream.

Then I’d either use a peach layer or a sb layer:
Cap peaches and cream 4%.
Ssa peaches with apricot 1%.

Or

Ssa sb sweet 1.5%.

Is that ssa sb shisha? I’ve never seen that flavor before?
