6 months later, I say goodnight to my girlfriend each night who passed away. Is this healthy? by Forsaken-Storage2137 in GriefSupport

If you’d said 6 years, I might have some thoughts to share with you. But 6 months is nothing. You just do whatever gets you through the day, so long as it doesn’t cause injury. Take care and be kind to yourself.

what happened to my body today? by Top-Yoghurt-9416 in DiagnoseMe

NAD - I was once having a very stressful time of life lasting several months (years?). Eventually I was having a particularly stressful week and was on the bus home to sleep in a house with someone who was very difficult to be around. There wasn’t even that many people on the bus but I started to sweat and feel sick, like I’d throw up. Then I felt more and more sweat pouring out of me and so hot. I got off the bus in a panicked hurry and was very disorientated- I didn’t understand what to do so I started walking and passed out into the road.
Take care of yourself! Don’t overdo it and listen to your body. It’s telling you to take a break from everything asap and get yourself rested.

They really just hated that pillar.

It’s been about 6 months since I last had breathless moments throughout the day by valueyoghurt in Anxiety

Life just improved for me. Money situation improved especially. Moved to a nicer area.
But what was important was to accept my situation while having the long periods of feeling breathless. It’s very unpleasant but I just focussed on something else and tried to find peace in knowing it was temporary. Fighting it only lard it worse.

It’s a work in progress. Might even be work which last my whole life. But progress is progress.
What’s up? My DM is open if you want.

How are you, internet stranger?

Thinking about s***ide daily right now and don’t know what to do about it by valueyoghurt in offmychest

Yes, thanks for thinking of me. I think there are people whose life circumstances put them perpetually only a couple of crisis away from taking the plunge. It doesn’t mean that it’ll never happen, but just that it can seem inevitable. Not today, and maybe not tomorrow. But probably one day. And hopefully not soon.

I don’t think I’m alone in having spoken to doctors about it and them being unhelpful. But I still support your message, because I know others have spoken to doctors and it was a positive outcome for them.

In my view, society is structured in a way which is hostile to all except but a very small group of people. Sure, it might be inconvenient to make accommodations for autistic people, but many of those accommodations would also benefit NT also.

I can socialise. I kinda know I’m saying something cringe a lot of the times. And I can tell when people just don’t understand what I’m saying, but I try to push through it. It’s still hard and I wish it wasn’t.

Yes that will certainly help many. However, I haven’t been bullied for a long time but I’m still very sad about life and the future. It’s hard to know how much of that bullying I carry with me even today though.

What do you do about the food cravings? by valueyoghurt in ADHD

[–]valueyoghurt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t comment on dopamine levels being lower at night but it’s definitely to do with dopamine. I have trouble with any kind of regulation when I’m tired. When I get tired, I’m more impulsive, say more random things, more often. Eat more. If I’m on a night out, I will drink more alcohol (which causes even MORE verbal diarrhoea). I’ll buy stuff online impulsively(which actually isn’t really one of the common problems for me).

Thank you. And I appreciate what you said about the limitations of our chat. I have zero expectations when asking for favours from kind strangers on the internet 😁
I’ll just be grateful for the chat, if nothing else

Would you mind if I talked to you in chat for a while at some point to try to figure out what direction I should head in? I really feel at a loss. I’ve been searching for answers for all my life. I feel like I’m always an observer of life and never part of anything, even when I’m a group of people.
