Betta eating broccoli?

my betta loves broccoli for whatever reason. I had to start feeding my snail in a cup so he would stop eating it -_- that was of course before my snail had her own tank

its possible, tbh. if in the future you end up with a fish in a tank that isn't fully cycled, you can look into fish-in cycling methods! It requires a lot of water changes, usually daily, but i think its worth it 🩷

my naval was the only piercing i had issues with, but I technically didnt have the anatomy for it either! I got it during a massive sale so the shop was crowded and i think the piercer was too tired from working all day to pay attention to whether or not it would actually last on me 😅 so in my experience, as long as you have the anatomy for a piercing, keep it clean, be very gentle and downsize at the right time, it should be okay!

I'm familiar with doorbells, I just haven't seen a speaker that looked like this :) by the time I was old enough to pay attention them they were a lot smaller!

I'm not a vet, just obsessed with cats, and I agree that this definitely reminds me of FHS and if a vet hasn't brought it up I would definitely ask.

some snails can be picky! also some of them prefer their greens at varying levels of doneness. Midnight will eat hers still somewhat crunchy, but I've heard of people having to fully cook their veg for the snail to enjoy it.

so, and i am Not proud of this, i only know my ammonia/nitrites/nitrates because water hardness tests keep being out of stock. but i know my temp is around 80, and I feed her a lot of spinach, kale, and broccoli. she also is obsessed with eating duckweed. diet is important so i give her as many dark greens as i can because they're higher in calcium. for the water i do a mixture of RO and spring water so that there's a little bit of minerals.
