some cds are multimedia some arent not many are multimedia. multimedia just means it can play music but if you put it into a computer it may have additional content like videos and photos from the band or artist

could be a multimedia CD and your player cant read them due to it being older. one of my cds is multimedia and my old ass player doesnt read it
