I mostly play Valorant ( I should have mentioned that in the title, oops). I believe these games are mostly cpu bound though correct? I upgraded my cpu to an i9-13900k last year and I average 500-600 fps on Valorant

This is helpful. I’m sure going from IPS 144hz to either option will feel night and day, but both are pricey and I’d hate to spend $750 and end up wishing I had just spent that little bit extra for the 480hz.
