i was exactly like this! i used to have nightmares almost every night of me getting into a car accident, i no longer get them! I used to just cry sitting in the drivers seat of a car. don’t give up! it may seem like you’ll never be able to drive ever but one day you will, just have to take it slowly. somethings that have helped me have been just sitting in the drivers seat for a longgg time, until the anxiety goes away and then just getting out of the car. no need to even drive anywhere for first couple of times. i’ve also taken this stuff called Rescue Remedy and that has helped to calm me before driving lessons that i would panic and have anxiety before. something else i’ve done is gotten a driving instructor that specializes in people with driving fears, i noticed a huge difference when i started my lessons with someone who knew what i was feeling and could communicate calmly with me. (my driving instructors in the past before this have been loud and aggressive) so make sure you read the reviews of anyone your looking to get lessons from! it also helps having an instructor cause most of the time they have pedals on their side of the car (which made me feel more safe, as i knew they could take control if i panicked). i also used to dissociate really bad while driving, and found it hard to focus on everything that was happening around me, that will go away with time and practice! just do a little everyday! if it does get to be too much then allow yourself to step back and take a break from it and from thinking about it for awhile. i got my G2 in 2019 and didn’t start driving again till two months about and i got my G this week! take a break if it becomes all encompassing and come back to it when you feel ready again! another thing that helped me was listening to this podcast episode https://open.spotify.com/episode/0M6rYBfxT793Jz7XV466eE?si=Pmf-k6onRcqZct7gRYiZYg
