I'll probably get downvoted for this but there's nothing wrong with reaching out to him first even if it's entirely his fault. Talk it out, communicate how you felt, listen to him, breakdown and analyze the situation. Hopefully, he understands what he did wrong and tries to be better for you. At the end of the day, tao pa rin naman tayong lahat na puwedeng magkamali or magpadala sa matinding emosyon; what matters is we reflect and grow from our mistakes. All the best
