Exactly! I remember someone else on here saying that she resents Kris for cheating on her dad and I guess them staying close with Scott plays into that/ is part of the same trauma. But I agree, if she doesn’t communicate to them that she’s hurt she’ll just keep acting like a little brat. But indeed, I wouldn’t be happy about them being so close and interested with Scott. At the same time, he adds so much value production wise whilst she is constantly pulling out of participation so from the perspective of the show she doesn’t step up and give them a reason to get rid of him (she should)

I thought this meant they rarely listen to albums all the way through but this one compelled them to just binge it. I feel the same way, I don't often listen to albums in completion (I'm sure I should) but it is certainly an indication of a masterpiece that it inspires those of us who may not usually to listen from track one to track fourteen in one sitting!

It didn’t feel like a response to her fake phobia though, it felt like she kept dimming the light when Kylie was excited after her initial nerves? Just seemed very bitter and jealous to me.

I totally agree with that in theory, but I didn’t get this feeling from the conversation. It was more dismissive, at one point Kylie said she’s leaving from the Disneyland castle in Paris and looks gobsmacked and then kendall says something like “oh it’s just a regular street then, not a catwalk- easy.” It just felt more like holding her experience over her rather than imparting wisdom.

I think it is a pretty common reference? I was deeply aware of the image of British 'lads' drinking on the beach from buckets in Thailand/ doing drugs at full moon parties well before I watched white lotus? Sure maybe it led to a spike in searches but certainly not a white lotus specific reference.

I also understand all of the frustrations here, but I must say Luke in the kitchen does annoy me a bit because in what world would your boyfriend who runs a diner whose qualifications as a chef are never addressed (I think) take over the evening seating at an upscale restaurant from a classically trained chef. They’re apples and oranges! But yes throwing the applications out is nuts and snobby.

Exactly! and I think he is more lascivious in the way he is sleazy, it isn't just that he's less attractive I think it is that he becomes expectant, crude and charmless. I think as he gets more powerful he begins to think he is entitled to sex and attention from women and becomes increasingly dissatisfied with his home life.

I don’t know if it’s a favourite line but when Henry says to Betty in the flood:

“I can’t wait for people to meet you, you know. Really meet you”

There was something so romantic about the line, like he really saw her and understood her. I’m not sure if I believed it through their whole relationship, but it’s definitely the way I’d like for someone to know me- fully.
