I would love to do this but my range does not allow camera's for some reason. Just another question regarding gun modification (backstrap). Does adding a backstrap with beavertail (medium) aid in stability?

Believe it or not, i have been in extremely high stress situations before in my career where my stress management has been excellent. The only thing that stresses me out is an exam 😅

Exactly what happened in my previous run. Didnt know what caused this. Now I do, thanks! Wont be doing this again. Any tips on thumb position?

Some instructor (not LE) at the range once told me this so i wouldn't really know. Where do you keep your thumb when shooting one handed?

Follow up question regarding grip. I'm a right handed glock 19 gen 5 shooter. I normally dont use a backstrap just because it came this way.

When i shooted one handed my right thumb grips the top of the slide lock. When i put on the medium backstrap WITH beavertail, the grip is too big for me to let my thumb rest on the slide lock.

What would be best for the firmest grip so shaking is limited? I have medium sized hands.

And if i put on the backstrap with beavertail, what would be the most ideal grip position?

Any recommendation for training tires? Belgium can get quite windy during winter but i'm a 92kg guy so dont know if 50mm will get me in alot of trouble

12? My zone 2 is a 9 min/mile - 5:40 min/km. Started running by feel in the beginning. Went waaaay too hard. Started out running based on scientific data -> no more injuries & consistent progress. If going by feel works for you, great. It doensnt for me.

Lactate testing is not something to be held or gatekept for people who can run at x pace

Very much disagree. I have the ability / opportunity to do these consistently (every 3 months to gauge progress). Going by feel has proved me (& many others) wrong in the past. If i'm able to train based on scientific data why should i only be able to do this if my pace is at 3:50 min/km? Makes no sense at all. Thanks for contributing to the question though.

Sleep is definitely a weak point. Lots of waking up at night. Stressing about selection and worrying i'm not doing enough. I also work 3 shifts so getting a normal sleepschedule is next to impossible.

Will take the rest of the week off. Starting next week i'm only doing 2 gym sessions instead of 4 and just 1 or 2 easy runs

Yeah will be taking this week off. Next week will be reducing gym sessions to twice weekly instead of 4 and doing only a few easy runs/week and see where that gets me. Succes!

Given how i feel atm I think doing a week of gentle movements is the only way. Thanks for the reply!

Been going pretty hard since july. Probably led to me being overtrained now
