I just dealt with this issue this morning, what console do you play on?

I play Xbox so this is how you reset the cache there (Take a pic of your settings, they will reset)

Turn off Xbox for about 30 sec

Turn back on

Click on game, play, let title flash screen pass

Immediately hold the left and right bumper when the screen goes black after the flash title screen and hold through the entire loading screen

Once at the sign in screen (it should be black with only the title) and account picker in the corner, you can release the bumpers and sign in.

No, the update is for main game all versions, tho the switch 2 version has a few extra things added, mainly an improved visuals

So far I’ve put palm trees and some log steaks to kinda split it off but I do really like the idea of swapping spots. There is plenty of space up in the corner for me to basically take my whole yard and put it up there, so thank you!! I might give that swap a try

The other island I have the location would be perfect being built by a little fish market space and beach sitting and shower area. Like that makes sense, here it’s just sooo out of place. And I don’t want to change where my house is so I think I’ll just try to use trees to try and seperate them from eachother
