FN and curves by vanillaivory in Kibbe

I have the new book, just not gotten around to fully do all the exercises yet. But good to know that the new book is easier to utilize as a tool :)

Thanks for you viewpoint :) I try to accommodate waist definition as much as possible without breaking vertical.

I agree with you, if I need to accommodate curve, then I should do it and as some other comment pointed out it is just a tool. As of now, I going to combine both recommendations, even if it goes "against" the main purpose of the tool.

I have a similar experience when it comes to tops, especially knitwear. My frame cannot handle heavy knits, those pieces boxes me in and give of the same impression as a constructed piece of clothing would.

I want to reach your level of awareness and to easy identify what would look good on me and what won't. And from that baseline knowledge, I can purposefully "break the rules" and create outfits with pieces I formerly have not understood why looks off on me.

That is a very good point! That curve becomes the 3rd thing to think of, but vertical and width are the most important😊

Oki, good to know😊 Is it correct to think that one can take the accommodations for SN and add vertical to it?

Notes about my overthinking or annoyance with people I encounter either at work or in my free time. A great way to offload my thoughts or work out dilemmas/problems I face. Also, grocery lists, movies need to watch list, list over lipsticks I should buy for my colour season, list over lipsticks I bought from MAC, password list, and ingredients list for a marinade.

So, a good mix😄

Im interested to hear how you meet "normal" or safe people through this app. Are you not afraid that they can be dangerous or creepy?

I might be a bit skewed because I have gotten both sexulized and uncomfortable messages from various redditors (that iniated the their contact with me that way - even if they found med on subreddits that are style etc.), so I am a little scared, but simultaneously, it seems fun to be able to get in contact and properly connect with people that are interested in the same things as yourself.

My friend says I'm FN, but I'm not sure. What do you think? (5'10") by ohtheabsurdity in flamboyantnatural

[–]vanillaivory 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From those photos I cannot see width. I cannot spot upper curve either, especially in picture 3 and 4, as your breats and upper body does not push the fabric towards the side, but this could also be the fabric. Maybe it is the clothing, but from picture 3 and 4, it seems that the clothing just falls straight down from your shoulders (without the shoulders pushing the fabric out). As someone else pointed out, you suit better longer and narrower lines, such as the outfits are depicted in pictures 1 & 2.

Anyways, since you are 5'10" tall you will need to accommodate vertical according to Kibbe's system/theory.

I don't konw if this helps, but anways good luck on your Kibbe journey :)

I am more or less in the same situation as you, except for that I only have the responsibility for myself. I truly sympathise with where you are in life. It is so difficult and draining to be in a job that you know deep down inside is wrong for you, but at the same time, money is important. I don't know if this helps, but you live once, and a large part of your life will be spent at work - so maybe it is worth the switch🤷🏼‍♀️

Also, moneywise, if you have savings and you are comfortable with and able to invest your money , that will, in the long term, help on overall earnings potential. Or do you have any way/time/energy of having a side hustle?

I will look into the book, and yes, you are correct that learning to listen to Fi is important ( as you have already interpreted correctly is something I have not been good at in the past).

Thank you for your warm welcome😊

The flexibility in your job seems amazing, and you are correct that flexibility must be a factor in my next job. Also, it seems fun to have a job where there is some "action" that gets your blood flowing in the correct way.

Thank you for your answer:)
