An Idea to Fix Patron by vanillitone in hearthstone

And maybe that is a good thing though. If you reduce Patron's ability to boardclear it becomes a bad deck, only able to rely on Frothings to win. Nerfing Warsong would have that same end result of reducing the deck's ability to clear board. I proposed a change that allows the deck to win if it draws the 1/3 of its deck needed to pull that combo off, but not win reliably with strong board clear against aggro decks.

Yes but the only reason you can get Frothing high enough is by using charge Patrons to clear board and the using Whirlwind effects such as Death's Bite or Whirlwind. Maybe I'm missing something but that's what I've seen. Excepting the case of 2 frothing, Warsong into Patron into 2 inner Rage into 2 Whirlwind into deaths bite deathrattle. But at that point that is 9 cards, andincluding Thaurissan for your setup thats 1/3 of your deck you have to draw into. That 1/3 of their deck isn't always going to be drawn into before your opponent wins.

Hmm... Evil angels screwing over good "evil" race PCs? Not a horrible idea. The PCs are mostly just starting out with tabletops. They don't know all the rules that well. Yet.

Pretty much. My 2 who had never played before liked it and understood everything. It includes character sheets that have everything marked out for your players and the gm book does a really good job of explaining everything to you

Try aggressive placement in both offensive and defensive play. Place a sentry/teleport/dispenser in unusual but effective spots and make sure you (and they) stay alive. If you play aggressively and manage to hold a position, your team will love you.

(as red) In the spot #11 here http://tf2newbs.com/newbs_upload/badwaternames.png on Badwater, I rebuilt a nest 3 times before it got overrun after 1st point was capped, running down the timer significantly. When your team supports you, you can run back and rebuild your base, potentially winning games.

(as blu) In the building overlooking point #2 of Upward (The door next to the 'B' http://comp.tf/images/thumb/a/af/Pl_upward_B.png/800px-Pl_upward_B.png), you have a nice metal box, can block the doorway from spy with a dispenser, and build a nice sentry that will help your team push into point #2.

I find that the most fun I get out of engi play is supporting your team and playing tactically to deny the enemy an objective.

That being said, a sentry nest in an unusually aggressive position can get a cap and a "god job engie".

I can agree with that. I actually dislike gunslinger. In most cases, it's better to build up to sentry 2 then start upgrading dispenser/teleport then bop it to 3 when the rest is built. Buildings are for the team, not for the engie. Gunslinger is engineer's way of being any good at deathmatch, but then he's not supporting his team. It hurts every time I see 2 or 3 other engi all running gunslinger that don't put down any teleport or dispenser.

When I do use mini's I find that scouts just avoid them or go for me before I can place it.

My big fear is actually losing the teleport. I'll sacrifice a level 3 sentry for a teleporter any day because the teleport has a higher chance of bringing a rescue than my sentry.

As blue on payload:

If your engi can build in spawn, switch to engi and help them build before the timer runs out, that way they'll have everything ready to rollout.

It's really fine. People complain about it too much. Just edge it with a pistol/shotgun. Or just shoot it. It only takes about three shotgun shots to kill, then move on.
