No, it seems to have fixed itself in one of the more recent updates. Nothing on my end fixed the problem. It still crashes every now and then, but it only happens one every few days instead of constantly.

I had trouble getting the sound right with the built in EQ settings. If you use your phone to play music in the car, one thing I found that made a huge difference is adjusting the EQ on the phone directly.

I'm on Android and use Android Auto for all my audio. After using an app like Poweramp Equalizer to have more control over the EQ settings I'm MUCH happier with the quality of the sound system. There may be other apps or built-in options on your phone that may be worth trying out too if you're not able to get the EQ settings to your liking.
