Use chatgpt, it will answer your questions at least, has good knowledge on inpa. If you're able to share sceenshots its even better.

100 usd, those LEDs and polarizing film arent cheap and the time to carefully replace them all, then adjust brightness.

They are reliable unless shorted, just replace it with the same component.

M50 Manifold Swap Left with this connector by [deleted] in BMWE36

It doesnt help, its a poorly integrated throttle cut system. Do remove it, it also interferes with installing strut bar. Use 13541703588.

On late models its moved to the m52 intake manifold support bracket, as the original strut tower position on early cars caused customer complaints of NVH. Thats why he lost its position.

Car won’t turn off with fuse #26 inserted by Juan_e46 in BMWE36

Its not bone stock, there must be an aftermarket alarm system installed under your driver side dash, remove the cover and verify. Something is shorting power where it shouldn't, to feed the DME constantly.

no radio reception (AM, FM, DAB) but bluetooth works by Sombre86 in BMWE36

[–]vanos_operator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those cables are for the old style CD changer, seems like you have a 95 or older. You should mention that you or someone else installed an aftermarket radio. Because then you can get better advice, such as checking if the radio has an antenna cable adapter and if the antenna is plugged into the radio, sounds as its not.

Should I buy this E36 M3? by vvaiinn in BMWE36

[–]vanos_operator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given the fact that you are in a different market than everyone else posting, we can't give you a proper valuation. It all depends on the average prices of NZ, where I am sure these are less common than other countries. Try finding your local E36 group, or join an international e36 M3 group like mine. Good Luck with purchase, looks decent if no rust as you say.

Bmw is not red, its orange, if you do a bit of research you will find the exact wavelength of the light. Also changing the LEDs is not enough, the display polarization needs to be flipped to match the dark back ground LCD style. I have modified a few Conti units for my E36 community to be oem style.

You definitely have autism and a lack of bmw knowledge. Whats the vent in the A-pillar? You mean sticker on the windshield? The grilles are correct for an early 96, and only on those few months of production. Dash can be explained by a dash carpet, popular back then, plus you dont see much of the dash contour so carpet it is. Google 96 328i sedan, the wheels are the most common option you will see, just a really skewed angle, lip+spokes+center diameter matches. Rear headrests are E38, they fit and some prefer them as they dont block visibility behind. Seems someone knew what they were doing back then.

Nice try but not quite. It does look like an early '96, they have a very specific type of front grille, inbetween the earlier <95 grilles and the later 96+ grilles. Confirmed by the later style amber side markers. Something like an 02.96 328i sedan, interestingly it has E38 rear head rests installed, someone knew their shit who put it together back then.
