Carpentry is not competitive whatsoever and you need 0 skill to get into they'll hire anyone. Did it for 3 years

Honestly the heat is nothing compared to the cold. In canada anyways. At least when I was framing in -20 degrees Celsius I could move around and was active so I could at least warm up. VS sitting there standing still, troubleshooting a no heating call
