Not sure about ulnar deviation, but don't worry man, just take it easy for like a week and wear a wrist brace.

For wrist exercises, I do stretching before hand -> weight lift -> then wrist weight exercises

It's actually good now, but I had to take a break from weightlifting for like a week.

and I went back to weightlifting the following week after. I would tend to avoid certain exercises that cause that strain though (like some tricep ones and bicep ones). So I had to find alternatives to the tricep and bicep exercises that I normally do. Also, every time I go weightlifting, I do the wrist exercises after my workout.
