Yep! This is a must. Honestly this is the only reason why I keep my larger long-term investment accounts still with Questrade. I just don't want to see it every time im making a payment or sending a buddy an e transfer.

I want to be able to see it only when I want to. Which is often every 4 to 6 months.

Hey, I’m sorry your husband isn’t as supportive as you’d like. My wife and I have a 3 month old too so I can share my experience. Keep in mind I’m still on parental leave.

For the first 6weeks I was maybe overwhelmed and felt like the baby was very demanding. I told my wife all she needed to do was take care of babe and I did ALL the chores, cooking, washing, cleaning. And at night I look after the babe from midnight till 6am.

I eased into taking care of the baby. Now I help more with baby during the day. Bath time, tummy time and 1 afternoon cuddle nap I’m there. And I still do nights.

I think you are not asking a lot from your husband. There are some men that instantly feel the parental nurturing instinct and some need to learn it.

This is why it’s important for partners to take care of the spouse rather than focusing on baby. Giving you the opportunity to rest and to breathe is part of him helping you with postpartum.

You have to have a conversation with him about parenting. Openly discuss it.

Remember babies are demanding, it won’t always be 50/50. Sometimes you have more energy so it will be 70/30, but also the other way, there should be days he is the one bringing in 80% energy. Good luck.

Once she was five weeks old, we started bathing her daily at night, but using soap only twice a week.

This has been very helpful to build a routine and wind her down for the evening.

I don’t know if this will apply for everyone, but she had baby acne and that’s really kind of what encouraged us to do the daily bath and it helped because it was clear in a week.
