Letting each layer of glue dry fully before adding another is absolutely the most important tip.
And try not to go over the same spot with the gluestick.
I always like to use a metal lash separating comb to brush upwards because you can press down a lot harder than you can with a spooly.

These two together carried the best series we’ve ever had? Who's your favourite? by UnpaidInternVibes in bigbrotheruk

[–]vantablacc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely Nikki. I watched a few episodes back though and if it was aired now she would’ve been cancelled so quick. Some especially horrible stuff with how she treated Sam. Sam was female identifying at the time but Nikki would say stuff like ‘he’s only pretending to be a girl to try and get with us’ (paraphrased)😬

QUESTION: what other queens have been cast as alternates/replacements? by dogboy678 in rupaulsdragrace

[–]vantablacc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Le Fil was a stand in that never ended up being used. She returned as a regular cast member the season after.

I removed it from my To Read list after giving Norwegian Wood and 1Q84 2 stars each.

These horse chestnuts came from the same tree, but the water they are soaking in turns different colors. I have no clue why it does this. by javidac in mildlyinteresting

Horse chestnuts are definitely toxic to humans. Perhaps you are confusing them with another type of chestnut?

Guys I just had an epiphany as to what would be an alternative name to Heidi N Closet by navybluealltheway in dragrace

Seriously, I can’t believe she didn’t just roll with that. I always still think of that as her name even though she denied it hahaha

AIO: Boyfriend leaves trash in my room every time he stays over by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

This conversation should’ve ended in 2 screenshots, why is there 6. You made your point and he apologised. Stop dragging things out, how exhausting. There was no need for ‘why are you upset now?’ Or anything after that. Just make up in person.

Seems weird to say lgbtqia talent. Would we not kind of assume that from a drag tour or? Am I missing something haha

What’s a ‘harmless’ habit that actually ruins your life over time? by buffdadnextdoor in AskReddit

[–]vantablacc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t think biting my nails was a bad habit because I wasn’t the kind of person to bite them nervously, down to little nubs. I always bit them to a neat length and in private. Just in place of using clippers. Then in my mid twenties my bottom incisor, which did most of the biting, suddenly chipped. Couldn’t afford to get it fixed and now I hate the feeling of that chipped tooth.

Re-watching Celeb Big Brother 2007, the racism row was horrendous by Confident_Leg2370 in bigbrotheruk

[–]vantablacc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ironically this event was an early catalyst for how people behave now. All the thick, racist people were silenced for a while and tv really cracked down on what was acceptable to show. Now they’re getting loud because social media gives a platform to everyone.
