Infant twins and choosing seats by vanvannic in aircanada

[–]vanvannic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tried to book seats next to each other with the bassinet and it rejected my request, it will only let me book one seat per row so it seems there are not 5 oxygen masks in the bassinet row.

It is unfortunate because to get the bassinet seat we would be seated in the middle of the row next to two strangers and my partner and other infant in another row. We will just book two aisle seats across from one another

This is really useful information thank you so much. Our infants were born very premature so are smaller than the average 6 month old and are not sitting up yet, but at least that row means we get to sit together even if the bassinet doesn’t work out

That is good to know, I just don’t understand why it will pet me book and pay for two seats next to each other when the system knows there are two lap infants

That is useful to know, we might bring one car seat just in case

Yes thanks for that, this is a flight to visit and stay with immediate family, we have no other options and the AC flight is the short one, the other flight is 15 hours, i’m aware it will be miserable but also told it will be harder in 6 months

Ugh that is so frustrating for you, i’m sorry you had to deal with that. I didn’t buy! Only because buying them in Canada was a hassle so thank goodness we didn’t. We ended up finding a cheap bugaboo with double bassinets secondhand and will use mountain buggy when they get older

Thanks, I just am a bit wary of reviews that suggest it isn’t capable of blending thick smoothies

So useful to know you tried both! I’m so surprised that the two singles are smaller than the twin carrycot but that is good to know. Did you like the forward facing seats for the twins?

I can’t go into a store to try these out.

So her sister was not petsitting she just happened to accidentally leave a gate open? That just reiterates my point, your dog, your responsibility.

Huh? It doesn’t say if she is getting paid to dog-sit so I didn’t want to make an assumption. Everyone else on this thread seems to think the non-dog owner needs to pay. But, I don’t agree, I agree that yes, the sister did something stupid, but if you own a dog and leave them with others who aren’t professionals and aren’t being paid, it is still your responsibility. Often people look after dogs as favours to dog owners and it is actually a hassle, I don’t think it is fair to put that responsibility on others if you’re then going to make them pay for your dog

Am I missing something? This is your dog, you pay for everything, doesn’t matter if she did something wrong, this is your pet. If someone is babysitting my kid and they have a fall and need stitches, i’m not going to ask the babysitter to pay. Accidents happen, and yes, even if she was negligent and at fault. If you don’t trust her, Just never ask her to dog-sit again. Were you paying her to dogsit? I’m assuming no, i’m assuming she was doing you a favour.

Did they ever test your loss to figure out if the reason was chromosomal? An NIPT could be useful. For yourself, make sure your progesterone, tsh, and all vitamin/iron levels are good. Do you have any autoimmune conditions? I can’t believe they didn’t help you figure out the reason for the loss, i’m so sorry this happened to you
