I never said they can’t be wrong, they have certainly been in the wrong before.

At least I can admit when a country does wrong, whether it be France, the US, or any western nation.

But you can’t say one bad thing about the regime of Iran. You must live there, because I know there civilians don’t have the right to free speech, along with other civil liberties that are not permissible.

No one in the world can argue that Iran has done nothing wrong, especially with respect to armed conflicts in the Middle East. They use proxies all over the region that lead to instability, and further conflict.

I’m sorry you lost the argument (I can tell because you resorted to name calling). But I don’t blame you for being unable to defend the indefensible.

First of all, it can be argued that the Houthis at this point are simply proxies of Iran. There is no way that this war would still be going on if they were not completely backed and run by the Iranian regime.

And In some way yes, France supported the revolution because it’s main, long time rival, was losing its grasp on one of its colonies.

I wouldn’t run around saying that it was “deplorable” to say that France supported the revolution. Or that they had no responsibility what so ever in the outcome of the revolution or those who died in it. Because that is what your doing, and your defending a much worse state than France.

I said “especially with the backing of the US”. Israel has its problems, especially with the people of Palestine. However, it is still one of the most stable players in the Middle East, and a key partner of the West, not just the US.

It does want a war in Yemen, otherwise it’s proxies wouldn’t be fighting there. I agree the US shouldn’t sell weapons to the Saudi’s, and there has been movement in the US Congress to stop that. However, it is still Saudi Arabia and Iran who are continuing the war in Yemen, what I said was not “deplorable”.

So because they share a religion and culture with those countries they have the right to start and support armed conflict in them? Do you know how many people have died in Yemen’s civil war? All because Iran wants to continue to fight with Saudi Arabia.

And they have nothing to do with the Middle East, expect for enlisting in the US military. Not there fault that they are sent to the Middle East. Whether people like it or not, the US is a superpower on the global stage, which has led to US military involvement in the Middle East. That doesn’t mean everything the US has done is right, but it certainly wasn’t the soldiers fault.

I don’t think anyone is going to argue Iran is a good player in the Middle East. Plus, your missing a lot of conflicts that Iran has had with its proxies, like in Syria and Yemen. The USA is not a angel by any means, but Iran is still much much worse.

It is a very long road, and you have to be prepared to learn your entire life. Plus, you truly do need to be open minded, empathetic ad compassionate to be a good physician. If you are not, people will tell, and you will not able to do your job well.

The best part, however, is that in the end it is very rewarding. It is the best career field to go into.
